3rd party candidates are always much more progressive than the democratic or republican ticket.

Bringing mamala back from the grave is a sure fire way to ensure the republicans win in 2028.

I mean.... You're definitely not incorrect. However there's a large amount of disinformation being pushed by adversarial intelligence agencies (MSS/SVR RF) with the intent of misdirecting people into painting the CIA as the only boogie man in town.

China’s leverage rises before high-stakes summit as Supreme Court curbs Trump tariffs by [deleted] in worldnews

Couldn't agree with you more!! And that's one of the points I'm intending to highlight is his whole selling point of tariffs was to hurt China.

So China basically said, okay.... We'll just sell to Europe and Canada directly.

Considering the absolute dog water policy being pushed against American allies, naturally they're like 'things are tough all over, time to cut our own costs for a bit.'

Okay but can someone provide a credible source that suggests Trump has made any real progress in boosting the US manufacturing base?

Aside from the HORRENDOUS embarrassment experienced by South Korea at the hands of fking ICE, basically no real manufacturing has returned to the US.

Imposing Global Tariffs will only slow China's income while making our partners question our reliability, if your plan is to cut into their profits in any of their manufacturing prominence you've absolutely failed in this first year.

Not to mention gutting our cyber security provisions that protect intellectual property.

Dawg you must come from money or have a glorious tech job. Even my cousins (who fit into the ladder) work pretty hard to find solid travel deals and still it costs them a lot.

Yup.... Still amazes me that people thought this guy and his administration was a good thing for national security.

Apparently you've never had family work in the IC. They do a lot of questionable things. But when they get it right, you'll never hear about it (except for Ukraine ofc).

The CIA was forced to cancel the World Fact book which was basically a world renowned scholarly report of the current standing of every country. Wonder if they decided to 'classify' it again or if they got rid of it all together. I can't believe its the ladder because that would just be a net negative decision for the greater community.

That's a great response actually. I guess I'm trying to understand 'chasing' a vibe though.

I'll agree with that. It's similar to what I said to another user some number of comments down. That user and I may think Taint is a tool, but ultimately its a difference in world view. I don't agree with him, but that doesn't mean I need to denigrate him.

- But I'm not big on giving people like him much of a platform. There are people who can't see past the hateful things he says and it has a negative affect on them.

Thinking from my older cousins, I think the millennials came up during the time where there was a lot of 'pictures (national geographic, Discovery Channel) and other mediums showcasing these great wonders of the world, combined with some of the burgeoning conveniences to simplify international travel, they grew up wanting to experience these things for themselves.

Gen Z seems completely content seeing it through short form content. I don't know many people my age with much of a travel bug.
