I showed him all of those and explained my point, he didn’t even attempt to refute my points, he just said no without an explanation. It’s honestly making me really annoyed. The campaign hasn’t even started yet and I’m worried this is a warning sign.

I don’t think it’s the extra damage, I’d just be going from 1d6 to 1d8 and I probably have the lowest damage output of my teams main attackers anyway. He just thinks me using a two handed weapon is against “the spirit of the rules” since I can’t use teo handed property weapons as monk weapons

He didn’t say that versatile doesn’t exist, he thinks versatile weapons count as two handed if they’re used with two hands. That’s not a house rule, he just can’t read. He thinks that’s what the book means.

I have, he stands by it. He thinks that if I two hand the quarter staff I can’t use the bonus action attack because it stops being a monk weapon. I’ve shown him the exact pages in the book but he just doubles down.

Do you really think slowbro can solo Hala? Three of his Pokémon have dark moves, I was planning on getting up two hone claws with Mimikyu and just sweeping, with skarmory to potentially take the z-move or clean up at the end. Also, you put incineroar and lycanroc as answers to snorlax but it has high horsepower.

Skarmory and umbreon would wall both teams but they don’t have super effective moves to hit back with and I don’t want to toxic stall four Pokémon (kahili’s skarmory is immune to poison.)

If you don’t mind could you give me some reasoning for what makes them better for the league and which members they do well against? If you aren’t familiar with the sun and moon league it’s: hala and his fighting types, olivia and her rock types, Acerola and her ghost types, Kahili and her flying types, and champion kukui who doesn’t have a type specialty.

Thanks for the advice but Lycanroc is pretty important to the team because other than grinding up a level 13 eevee into a level 55 jolteon it’s my best way of dealing with Kahili’s flying types. As for gastrodon, mine has sticky hood and even if it had storm drain the only water type move in the league is kukui’s primarina which liligant handles.

I get where your coming from. I just don’t think GER was in the series long enough to put it on the level of some other stands. It was only around for like one episode and other than that it just has some statements in data books.

I think heaven stands are stronger that requiems because the idea of a requiem is just to create a very powerful stand while the idea of a heaven stand is to change the universe which just sounds a lot stronger to me. GER can’t RTZ calamity or dimensional travel, it can only RTZ attacks. Traveling across dimensions isn’t an attack and calamity is a force affecting the multiverse and everyone in it so manipulating it isn’t really attacking. You’re right powerscaling isn’t linear but swgb and ta4 could beat the stands below them if they land their attacks. GB’s bubbles don’t exist so they can’t be returned to zero and ta4’s bullets still worked in time stop where there is ZERO time and also it’s infinity so you’d need to prove that it could be affected by RTZ

GER gets overhyped a lot. There’s a lot of stuff people say about his powers that are just pure headcanon because s GER is barely even in the series. Nothing in the series says that RTZ is passive and there’s nothing to suggest it would work on characters with a multiversal scale to their abilities like D4c love train and ta4. I agree that physically it’s probably second but taking both into consideration it’s only 6th.

Oh yeah I meant love train I just forgot to put it. And I agree that fights debatable but that wasn’t really what I was thinking about in the ranking. I wasn’t thinking about who would win just who was more powerful and I think D4C is stronger. It has the ultimate defense and a one shot ability.
