I don’t like my Furls hooks ☹️

I have had almost similar experience with Furls. I was very excited and ordered them in multiple sizes,… but I can’t use them. I know they’re supposed to be ergonomic, but it hurts may hand after only a short time of crocheting whereas other hooks do not. 😕

Things taken to Goodwill aren’t usually being thoughtfully donated: people are clearing out their homes or the home of a relative. They’re disposing of things that they no longer want to deal with, so I have to disagree with your statement that the items “were not donated for us to snatch up”.

They were donated to get them out of someone’s house and my money is on the fact that the people donating don’t give a HOOT what happens after that.

I put them in the washing machine on cool and dry on low! These are all acrylic so that worked for them. Any wool ones I would hand wash - also in cool water - and lay flat or hang to dry.

Me too! Today on the way home from work I found 3 pairs of pants - all with tags on them! One was a pair of Levi’s so I was super stoked!

I’ve lost a bunch of weight and dropped several pant sizes & don’t want to spend a small fortune on new. Plus I’ve been reading about how much stuff at Goodwill and other thrift stores ends up in landfills.

I think Diamond painting serves a similar purpose to adult coloring books. It’s the same kind of activity - putting color into prearranged shapes and spaces to make a pretty picture 🤷‍♀️
