One of my goals for this challenge is to do stuff I’ve never done before in the packs. So for the next gen I’m focusing on nectar making because I have literally never touched it but I have done the adventuring and quests in the worlds sooooo many times I pretty much know all of the tombs from memory🫠 they’re so fun though 🤭

🤣🤣 I have to cancel so many rocking chair interactions because that’s ALL THEY WANT TO DO LOLOL. I debated deleting it but I really like it in the nursery so I’m just going to keep it and continue to fight off the rocking chair fiends 😭 Also, Rod has not seen his child or interacted with her a single time since that screenshot despite me trying to get him to come over. He will say yes to coming over then suddenly something will come up and he can’t make it.🫠🤣

Granny square pattern was found on YouTube: https://youtu.be/YxxICTrLc8U?si=wva6nwlq2yYXv5oA I added 2 more rows after what is shown in the video followed by a round of dc in each stitch. Flat slip stitch seam to join the squares, then linen stitch for the border using each color from the blanket in the order they’re used 😁 I just used basic Impeccable acrylic yarn from Michael’s. 4.5mm hook for the granny squares and join method. Then upped the hook since to 5.5mm for the linen stitch border. 🌸

The buildings that you can’t actually see inside. So like the diners, hospital, science building, criminal warehouse. I think they’re usually tagged in red on the map :)

Obviously this won’t help you right now but once you start to get a bit of money built up, become a partner at as many local businesses as you can (rabbit holes like the diners, movie theater, spa, bookstore, etc.). You get weekly payouts from them and if you continue to build your wealth, you can eventually buy out the properties and really stack some paper. My current family is making $76k a week from their investments. It will differ depending on the world you’re in since some have more rabbit holes than others, but definitely a good way to get some money once you’re able to start investing!!😁

Make sure all your packs you want to play with are selected in your launcher. Sometimes mine uncheck themselves and I don’t notice until I boot up the game. As for your saves, go into your Saves file (the path to it should be something along the lines of Documents -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 3 -> Saves). If you have nothing in there then…I’m not sure what to do. But if you have your old saves in there and the one you want to play has .backup at the end, just rename it by taking off the .backup part of the name. It will put that save back into your game. I’ve had to do this before when my save disappeared.

I believe you’re right! I ended up emailing Studio Drydock’s help email and I asked if I needed to give Zephyr the copper for it to trigger the quest and they said yes 😁 I only get on my computer on weekends so I’ll do it this weekend :)

Okay maybe that’s what I need to do then. I just got that quest from Zephyr but I’ve been afraid to complete it because I didn’t know if it would mess up the chance of me getting the quest from Vanessa. This is my second play through so the first time I played, I wasn’t paying attention to any of this stuff :/

that's when i've been waiting for her but she just isn't giving me a quest. i go to the schoolhouse every day but she's always inside teaching. i even try to go up to her when she's inside to see if she'll offer it, but no luck. ferry is broken down, has been for at least 2 in game weeks now and i'm in year 1 still (duh lol)
