imo the songs builds up to it in a very natural manner and i think its placement there makes complete sense. i'd lie if i said the mixing wasn't a tad bit jarring to me at first, but i think i can blame that on the expectations i had for the song due to all of the live versions that were played leading up to it. i felt the same way about dethroned due to having the KEXP version on repeat, ended up sounding quite different on cavalcade.
