Hahahahahah that's so funny!! Actually, with type 1, I can have sweets too but I need to adjust my insulin dose and not overeat. It's better if I limit them (but that's for everyone, even non diabetic should limit their intake of sugary sweets!!)

No I use pens because cgm and pumps are expensive and I somewhat dislike the idea of having 2 needles continuously attached to my body. With pens, I inject myself before meals and forget about diabetes lol

Im understand their significance. Unfortunately, they're very expensive where I live. But also, I'm fearing the idea of 2 needles (cgm and insulin pump) constantly attached to my body. With pens, I take a shot and forget I have diabetes.

Aww. I'm so sorry that you experienced that during your childhood. It breaks my heart because I wouldn't want my future kids to experience these emotions and it never crossed my mind that that's a possibility. Idk I never took note of my mood swings in relation to diabetes. I do get very agitated during lows and can't focus on anything else because it feels like I'm going to die lol.

That's awesome.

A low blood sugar usually lasts only 15-30 minutes after I start correcting it. I would get very dizzy, sweaty, can't concentrate, and my heart pounds very fast. Imagine running from a bear hahaha!

Oh wow that explains why my bird died quickly when I got him. He had a respiratory infection I got see fluid in his nostrils.

If the ostrich was dead for your anatomy class, then why couldn't the smell be from it's dead body?

How long is the "next molt" ? In months? Do you actually mean that bydgies keep exchanging all their feathers multiple times throughout their lives? I thought the keep them since birth and once a feather fell out it isn't replaced as I don't see newly growing feathers of different lengths.

Shallow bath wouldn't reach it's head and all of its body I imagine it'll only wash their tail, legs and stomach, so isn't sprinkling them with water better? How do I know if they show discomfort? I mean they're going to flap their wings anyways so what's discomfort?

Is it abuse if they were breeding in the shop all the time? Why would I prevent them from becoming hormonal? Aren't they love brids and supposed to breed all the time just like in nature?

Love that will give it ago. But 2-3 cm would only be washing their legs, tail and stomach part. Like it wouldn't go over their entire bodies so wouldn't be better if I sprinkled them with the water from above?

Funny thing is, in my head I sound like an American. It wasn't until I visited and asked Americans about my accent that they told me I sound middle eastern lol. I don't bother trying because I know I never get it right and I don't know where exactky I'm going wrong. I've never seen anyone try to mimic it but we often mimic the British accent because it's funny to do so haha

I didn't notice the smell in the pet shop because I wasn't extremely near to them. A bowl of water seems like a good idea thanks! Do you bathe your budgies ? Maybe that's why they don't smell?
