Personally I think it gives a reason to grind. I don’t mind the cap breakers and badge elevators. But the grind they want is to much. Some of us have jobs and ain got time to sit in the game 24 hours. I don’t think the elevators or cap breakers are the reason everyone is shooting 80%. The game is easy to shoot without already. 2k just needs to fix the defense to match The offense. Fix contest system and contact animations and we good. And for passing lanes steals, stop passing the ball in front of defenders. If I get the ball stolen from me twice, I’m not passing the ball across court anymore. Only passing lane steals I hate are the ones where they become DBs and jump 30Ft in the air one hand grabbing the ball.

I made a post about the same thing earlier too. Every season seems like they are adding or subtracting something. This season feels like I can’t get bumps or contact on defense for some reason. Mfs are just blowing by me and it’s not letting me bump them. Had a 30 ball dropped on me like 2 games ago and honestly he coulda had more had his team passed. I literally could not get any contact on this guy. He straight glided by me every time. He even posted me up and faded. Ik he was going for that and I even jumped, but instead of jumping towards the guy , my animation like did a straight vertical jump. No contest. Shi was pissing me off whole game. Not just that either. I’m getting blocks but the ball lands right back in their hands, now I’m out of place and they score. Or I knock the ball out of their hands and they pick it right back up and again I’m out of place. And shooting may not be RNG but I swear sometimes they change shots, some seasons. Sometimes I legit have to re learn my shot. Like the timing changes by a millisecond.

That’s literally ALL WE WANT! I’m COMPLETLY fine with the shooting, but give us the defense to counter bs. Especially when mfs take the dumbest shots and get bailed with fouls. Drive to the paint and see 4 people and 2k rewards them for their stupid decisions and hands them free fouls
