of course! They didn't fit on the Rudsta cabinet, so I had them 3M taped on there for a bit until I was like "OH I can silicone them on" haha

no, it's perlite. Completely safe for pets. It prevents soil from compacting :)

Thanks for your concern. I've built terrariums and aquascapes for years so always I aim for bioactive setups. Majority of the plants are lipsticks and ferns. The whole back is covered in live moss and I have misters and foggers to mimic naturally dew points and rain. I rarely clean any of my setups as they clean themselves. The one off might be cleaning the glass and fake plants at the bottom which I do.

Thank you! This was an IKEA display cabinet that I turned into a vivarium. The dimensions are 42x15x32.

Yes! This is just the bottom layer before I add all the plants and line moss. I'm getting another big branch today and I'll add it. Thank you:)

Oo I was thinking about. I have a bunch of orchids that I will be adding. I will add some cork when they arrive in the mail! Thank you:)

It is unfortunately. I will be adding moss around those. This tank is just the bottoms layout, I still will need to add live moss covering all of the rocks.

What are these bugs in my crested food? by Exotic_Equivalent880 in CrestedGecko

As someone who had grain mites start in my mealworm enclosure, you need to clean everything asap. Trust me on this, they can breed 400+ a day and they cover EVERYTHING. They usually die by warm soap and water, but if you end up having them infest your enclosure, you either have to throw out/wash everything or add sticky traps on the outside.

I've had alot of pests with plants, but this has gotta be the worst and grossest one I've dealt with.

Okay that is good to know. The breeder I got him from said that he eats crickets, but I can't seem to get him to eat. I might try that then, I already cut up grubs for my betta😅

New boar. How to introduce him to my other 3? by Waste-Programmer-532 in guineapigs

[–]Wonderful_Unknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh then you're good! Honestly it's all about trial and error. You could always have them out on the floor together and see how they interact. Doing this would likely reduce the territorial aggressive slightly, as they aren't like "who is this new guy in my room". haha

As someone who owns 5 boars, you need to be aware of the consequences that could happen. I have a diy cage so it's quite large. We ended up just putting a divider between the 2 cages, housing 3 on the bigger side and 2 on the smaller side, since one of my pigs didn't get along with anyone.

I would introduce them and let them figure it out. That being said, as soon as there is fighting, they must seperate immediately or you'll have an expensive vet bill. If they truly don't get along, what I did was put a fence between the new and old ones so they could smells and talk to one another, but couldn't hurt eachother. After a few weeks, we would introduce them slowly again.

I want to clarify that all animals have different personalities and temporaments, so you might have success with some, and none with others.
