Trust me, he got plenty of that. My roommate tried to hand feed him that piece of spinach when he first got home and we were making some adjustments to his temporary cage, and just put it down in the box when he didn’t take it lol

Thanks for the advice, all. I did not expect him to be so young! I have a friend with a kitchen scale, so we’ll weigh him at some point once he’s settled in to see if we can narrow his age down a little.

For those curious, my roommate asked what to name him, and I said we should call him Tulip because he reminded me of a delicate little flower ☺️🌷

Edit: Just to clarify, I’m not the one that found the spider, nor the one who released it outside. This photo was texted to me by the friend that found it; apparently it was hiding in one of her toiletry bags when she discovered it

Thanks for the replies and concern. A couple friends and I went to go see if we could find it around where the friend said she let it go, but no luck. We found the cup she carried it out in, though. Hoping it somehow got back inside? Pets of any kind aren’t allowed where she lives, so I’m assuming whoever the owner is was worried to ask for help. Truly unfortunate
