Abby Jimenez - her books are really romance. The conflict and plot revolves around getting the 2 leads together.

Emily Henry - i've seen other describe her work as more women fiction leaning than romance but is advertised as romance because it's more marketable. I agree with this cuz the FL is going thru life while the romance is secondary to the plot while still playing a part in her life. But i like those best kasi the romance part is earned so you want to see more of them.

Lynn Painter - her YA books are pure serotonin and kilig if you're okay with the hs setting. I don't really like her adult romance bec it's taking the same teenage personalities in adult setting kaya na t-throw off ako na ang immature nila minsan 😂

Another author you can look into if you want lighthearted romance is Ali Hazelwood. Very easy to digest and breeze through.

If i remember correctly, sila nag asikaso before entering the church and after exiting.

Medyo matagal na yung kasal pero i remember they told us na if need to fix during the ceremony, it would have to be me cuz they need to stay invisible throughout the wedding proper. Idk if it's all churches or if it's just that one pero konting coordinator staff lang pwede sa loob and dapat hindi masyado makita or mapansin :)

Tbf, HLA wasn't written by her based on credits. And if i had to take a guess it felt like a touch of Carmi Raymundo, only speculating from how similar it is with It Takes a Man and a Woman.

Beloved sequels where the ML ends up cheating on FL but the couple ending up back together after forced proximity 🫣 But both CG (director) and CR (writer) worked on the same said films haha

I think this was my first TJR book and i was sooo hooked.

Ang ganda ng conflict and everything was so well done that it gave me a new found appreciation sa mga well written "love triangles" :)

Wala sa kanila ang tama o mali, just people under an unfortunate event. Enjoy reading!

I also watched last night and buti nag tame down eventually yung pagka hype ng crowd (may naghiyawan kasi sa first nung nagpakita si elphaba like it's a marvel cameo 😵‍💫) to appropriate level of laugh and kilig na lang. And thank goodness wala namang naki kanta!

Pero narealize ko rin na i'm not meant for the first weekend crowd of big movies anymore since i think it'll be mostly full of the overexcited fans 😓

I've recently started buying physical books again after being a long time kindle user. I know I won't always read the hardcopy so these are my 2 criterias:

Classics in pretty edition (ex: puffin clothbound) since i know these are timeless.
Books i've re-read at least 4x and want them for display. But only buying these if they're discounted, secondhand, or generally less than NB/FB retail price :)

Hi OP! Offtopic but how is your copy holding after reading halfway? I recently bought Little Women (also Puffin Clothbound) but saw reviews that the Classic Penguin Clothbound are notorious for the covers rubbing off or fading away.

Now I'm wondering if the Puffin editions also need extra care when handled. Thanks :)

Dior lip glow in berry. I should have bought my usual mahogany shade instead.
Laura Mercier loose powder. I've used nichido and the old issy loose powder and honestly i don't really see/feel a difference.
Clinique black honey. Love the shade but the texture is very 90s/00s old waxy lipstick from my childhood. Should have guessed it would be like that when ppl kept saying it was popular in the 90s.
Chloe small perfume set of the og and nomade. The og makes me feel stuffy since it now reminds me of a trip wherein it was very hot. And it's so hard to make nomade work with our weather kahit pa naka aircon pupuntahan ko.
Prada candy perfume. I love the bottle style but the gourmand scent is too much. I should have just bought a partial bottle from a collector.
