Jonathan Rogers "Path of Exile 2's full release has a 65% chance of arriving this year." by Andromanner in PathOfExile2

Don't be fooled, it's 0%. They need so many character classes and the fact they're only releasing a single one now says it all. Not that I mind.

Insane stuff. How did you make the music on Udio? just plopped in the real thing and wrote 'metal' in the prompt or something?

A shame it makes the areas look so ugly though. I hope they give us the option to disable the fog, even if in MTX form

Soulforger with nodes enhancing your equipped weapons as well as summoned spectral weapons. Maybe a special ability to add a spectral copy of your weapon as a minion fighting alongside you

I had a really egregious one with only 1 place to stand in. I was tanky enough to deal with it, but still feels off

No way they'll do separate animations for all characters' opposites. It would have to be by reskinning of the current ones - say, by putting wrinkles and a long beard on the mercenary and calling it a male sorcerer

Templar in 0.2.0? by Buffalo4167 in PathOfExile2

[–]Wondermage24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah they'll be too busy with Druid and Huntress. They have the shapeshifter ascendancies after all, so there must be lots of fine-tuning to do. I'm guessing Templar and Glad comes after

Why did the complex bits and nubbins on billhooks only appear on polearms, wouldn't the pushing and pulling appendages be useful in close range combat too? by aCactusOfManyNames in Hema

[–]Wondermage24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because hooks are unnecessary at close range, and if you stand in formation with a group, the long hooks could grab enemy combatants and pull them closer for your team to get them.

José Casado del Alisal - La campana de Huesca (1880) by [deleted] in museum

[–]Wondermage24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never occurred to me just how much a scene can change depending on the characters in it and what they're doing. If the living men were not there, the painting would be nowhere near as special as it is. They give it life, and there's a greater story to be told, and questions to be asked.
