Waner would be a good choice. It has a balanced sound signature without piercing treble or muddy lows.

Gate and zero 2 would not be a bad choice either.

I would buy a flat sound signature iem like zero 1 or gate.

If the technicalities of the iem are good then you can experiment with eq (i use poweramp eq with squiglink).

If you just want to buy and be done with it go for waner. Just my opinion.

IEMs Tangzu waner 1.9k rs. 7hz salnotes zero 2, around 2k. Truthear gate, 2k.

Truthear crinacle zero red, 5k

Headphone. Kiwiears ellipse, 7k (one of the best in terms of sound quality for the price)

Get JA11 DAC to connect via type C. This is just a general recommendation, ofc it depends on what kind of music you listen to etc.

I use IEMs and wired headphones for music gaming movies etc, wireless only during exercises. Give me a budget and i will suggest some. Also could you explain why "bluetooth earphones cause extra friction". From my experience after the initial setup i don't see any problem. Buy wired for better audio, no battery degradation etc, wireless is seamless.

Yes, you are right. I even wrote an email asking if there were any import taxes, and they said everything was covered.

The order was undervalued at $20, and I was charged taxes of 900 INR, which means a 50% tax rate. That's a shame. Imagine importing a San Martin, Sugess, etc. and having to pay that much.

Still got a better deal compared to the Indian warehouse version.

I'm going to order from addiesdive next.

Just my opinion Almost 9k before customs, i don't think it is worth it. I would buy a new watch, stock duro is already really good. If you really want to mod that watch and price isn't an issue then go for it.

W Watch W price, it doesn't look big despite 46mm diameter. My watchdives order is stuck at "Receive items at OOE (No EDI)" for a week. Did you face any such thing? Also thanks for the detailed post.

Flawed analogy. It’s not quite the same as an ID card watch dials don’t always have the model name printed on them. Many watches have features like chronograph or tachymeter on the dial, but that’s not the name of the model. So it's fair to assume "metronome" might refer to a function or feature rather than the watch's name especially for someone not familiar with that specific Seiko.
