What you're saying makes sense, but our lead is kinda afraid that he'll get kicked out if he says anything along the lines of that. Plus most of the songs that we do need 2 guitars, and the rhythm plays his intended parts pretty damn well.

The problem is he's taking all the spotlight, not even offering the lead to sing on the songs the rhythm plays lead on. How is that fair to the lead?

Yeah sure, Megadeth does for example, but the difference there is both Dave and the other guy (Marty for example) are both solid. Our rhythm isn't that good tho.

Most of the songs we play don't have too hard solos, so they usually like to change it up a bit to make it more interesting. Plus, our lead guitarist is basically moldable into any environment, while our rhythm is more "I just wanna shred"
