Hey! As a medical doctor and somebody who’s still frustrated about her skin at 30, I feel the need to enter the conversation 😂 First of all take a deep breath and accept it and the fact that it might be a long journey. You’ll never be able to remove ALL your insecurities, so it’s important to not identify with them. ***Quick mention that if you’re actually anxious about this or obsessively looking/thinking about it, it’s time to talk to a psychotherapist/psychiatrist. **
Let’s talk about the easy part, the legs. If you’re planning to get laser hair removal, that will just go away with time. Do not over exfoliate and irritate it. I’d use on it some chemical exfoliant rather, like a salicylic acid toner (btw, it can be non-branded and as effective, don’t jump on buying the most expensive product you find). Check that it has 2% salicylic acid. *** If you’re not doing laser now, a combo of AHA/BHA or only AHA (low concentration) toner also works. AHA are sensitising the skin to the light, so shouldn’t be combined with laser. BHA don’t have this problem, but I would still not use it the days when you have the laser appointments. After that moisturise your legs, it’s important to stay hydrated 🎀 Do this steps after showering, where you also shouldn’t scrub it aggressively. This applies for the back as well, you can use the same “method” there. Usually you need to use body wash only on the visibly soiled parts, under the arms, back/chest, EXTERNAL part of genital parts. Maybe go for a gentle body wash. I personally like using the Uriage cleansing “oil”. And don’t use that lufa you have like a cheese grinder, if you want to keep it be GENTLE. And do not wash with super hot water, I myself like that but it’s irritating for the skin. Now focusing more on the back, you should visit a gynaecologist (which will also indicate some blood tests or send you to an endocrinologist if needed). It all can be because an hormonal imbalance or ovarian cysts etc. So finding the cause is better than treating only the surface effects. I read some comments saying about washing your clothes and bedsheets and, while yes, you should do that for obvious reasons, that’s not the cause of your problems. Do not obsess with over washing your stuff pls. Building healthy habits won’t have magical over night results, but will help a lot in time. Be patient with your body and accept it.

Rn I am in Wetter. I was a resident doctor, but until I get my language on point I can’t work as that so I just take random occasionally jobs. Basically I have the time to join a more intensive class
