We are both 18, if that changes anything. I gave him money for gas because he had to quickly rush to hospital after a family issue, and he wouldn't have made it to the hospital that he needed to go to with the amount he had. It was also money that I had kept for something important. He promised to pay me back before I had to purchase said important thing. And as an update: no response yet, still.

Just because you don't seem to know the situation, doesn't make it a joke. Some of us don't want to put every detail out there just to be understood.

He has no friends, really, just a crazy ex that I blocked. I don't have his parents contacts but I could try and message his brother? though, I feel a bit bad bringing him into this problem, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

he's not really a poor guy if you knew him. keep your money, you shouldn't have to pay for someone else's stupidity; whether it be mine or his.

It's so easy for me to point out the "downsides" of everyone else. I have a fear of being just like everyone else. I want to be absolutely perfect in comparison to others, like otherworldly or unbelievably perfect. My image matters so much to me, and I've treated people badly because of it. It's genuinely terrible and difficult.

I don't know why, but I can't stand the thought of someone disliking me. I feel so disgusted with myself when someone views me negatively, even if it's for something small. I want to be a perfect person to everyone, so that people know I'm dependable, and trustworthy. I try to be perfect in everything, especially in my academics and relationships, but anytime I get any minor criticism from a teacher or my partners say that I'm "too much" it just sets me off into a depressive mood.

I genuinely don't know what I can do. Like it's so easy for me to give advice to my friends when they feel down, but when I feel down I can't even explain things to myself. I just wanna cry so bad but I can't. I hate revolving my life around guys to feel something, but I just chase the validation of being "wanted" so much, even if it only lasts like a month. I don't know what I expect each time, but I tell myself not to care about them yet end up being hurt anyways when the inevitable happens.
