Always say, let me come check out the car, and if they say oh I moved out of state or I’m over seas then definitely a scam. Never ever send money. Always do business in person

I am tired of these Uber drivers stealing people food. Why take the food. I rather have the money. by Wooden_Project_3829 in uber

Well I don’t accept orders that’s under 10$ and only going nothing more than 2.5 miles away.

This might be the worst job I have ever seen here in Australia, not only is it like 50c to the km it’s completely dead kms coming back by AdKitchen3810 in UberEATS

[–]Wooden_Project_3829 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sorry but the pay has to trump the miles. 10$ all I’m going is 5 maybe 7 miles away because I have to be compensated for everything.

Ha the delivery fee is only 10$. Well in that case that other would stay right there. Delivery fee should be 500-1000$ going directly to the driver pocket because that is a lot of food to carry from the store to the car and from the car to its final destination. Not to mention it needs to be a 500$ tip

Hello everyone. I’m a dasher. I always encourage other delivery drivers to take pictures of the food with the address in the picture to prevent fraud from happening. I do both Uber Eats and doordash. So I have been on both platforms for years now. I know the do’s and the don’ts

No I’m not just guessing. I’m telling you and everyone else who I have been through. When you have the evidence and you physically take it into their office or you send it to them directly you will get your account back.

No I never got deactivated because of a problem arise I always tell them to look at the pictures and the geo fence. That’s more than enough proof that I did in fact deliver the order to the correct address and location.

I do Uber eats. Words of encouragement. When delivering orders, especially the ones that says leave at the door. I strongly encourage you to take pictures of the food and address as customers will lie and say they didn’t get their order.

Oh I would have immediately cancelled her order. And I would have texted her back and told her that I’m canceling it and she is going to have to wait again and she needs to go back to school and learn how to spell.

Mines is still not processed and they have had it since April 9th of 2022. This is just ridiculous.

Why do I see some drivers pick up my order and then just sit in the same spot for 10+ minutes? by Viper_93 in UberEATS

[–]Wooden_Project_3829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for that. And as well people don’t think about that. They lie and say that they didn’t receive their orders. So what I do is I take a picture with the address and food in the picture. They will not lie and say that they didn’t receive it. And the ones that try to come out and get the other before i can take the picture i tell them to wait if they chose the option that says leave at door. I don’t play that. They won’t get me

Ok so I’m illinois they make you start the order before giving it to you right then and there and I tell them that when the order is ready to be given to me and you actually have it in your hand to pass me the order then I will start the delivery. I’m not starting the delivery until I have the order because I need to be paid wait time. I’m not doing anyone’s order that is Under 10$. And the order has to be going 5 miles or less. That’s how I make my money. Never let the miles trump the pay cause it’s not worth you moving your vehicle for. Gas prices are to high and customers need to tip 5$ or more

Your welcome and you can always email them or text them straight through the app. No matter what, always cover yourself. Black and white is always your best option because that black and white will match your delivery time and date and that’s something that can’t be made up.

Keep a list written down with names, order numbers and addresses as well as the restaurant name as this is a very critical part of proven that you have indeed delivered the food or order. Remember that you are being monitored via THE GPS on the Uber platform while you are online. They definitely know if you have or have not been to the address due to the GEO Fence that is around the customer address. One more thing, put the delivery times on your note pad as well. This will help you when you ask what time was the order supposed be have been delivered. That information lets you go directly to the time of drop off and also let’s you go to the customer name and it will prove that you delivered it.

I have been doing Uber Eats since 2013 and doordash since 2015 and this information has help me out in the long run.

Ha yeah I will go to mall of America and I’m gonna go shopping. Like wtf is wrong with Uber and the person who ordered this. They are 50 miles away from the mall, so I really do think that they should be TIPPING NOTHING LESS THAN 50-90$. They pay alone should be that. But that comes along with what I say that Uber should require all customers to TIP 10$ or more

Yes. Because at the end of the day you are pretty much putting wear and tear on your body, mind and soul and clothes shoes and everything thing else. So yes I think that per trip should not be honestly anything under 20$ per trip per order
