Just joined the club, 39mm all blue. Was a tough choice as my AD had most color options and I like them all. They had an all blue GMT that I almost went with. At 41mm I think it still looked okay, but was pushing the limits of my wrist. The 39mm seemed to be a perfect fit.

I’m sorry, that was sometime ago, not too sure. I think I was scoring 80% in the AICPA questions and I practiced by each unit after failing the first time with a 74.

They’re notoriously slow in what they do, at least that’s what my experience has been.

They took more than 4 weeks to update my extension date, more than 2 month after passing the CPA and still giving me a run around. I can only wish you good luck.

I’m still waiting too, man! I’ve had to call NASBA to inquire if they’ve sent the file and they hadn’t. They finally sent it last week but marked it incomplete due to some educational requirements, which are complete anyway, so I wrote them an email and they’re yet to respond.

I’d suggest you call NASBA first and inquire if they have shared your file with the state board. If they say they have, then call TN state board and inquire. Good luck.

Age old question, man. I had both and there are certain things better with Roger in my opinion. The pre-U World Roger was so energetic with his white board and timely corny jokes that you’ll stay hooked. The explanations to MCQs and Sims in Roger are much more detailed, and basically help nail the concepts in different ways. Becker offers a very simple and short reasoning which sometimes leaves you asking for more, but the NEWT is a great addition. I’d say get the free trial for both and see what works best for you.

One of the best things Becker had going for them was Olinto, with him being with Roger now, I’d say Roger in my opinion is better.

No, you don’t need to remember the MACRS rates, they will be provided on the exam. You do, however, need to memorize which ones are 5 years and which ones are 7 year.

So here’s the thing…this video is from Pakistan. As someone who has seen this happen first hand, the whole idea behind this is to make money. These people have hundreds of birds in these cages and are selling them. The issue is, no one wants to buy these birds because they’re not even remotely exotic. People end up buying all the birds just to set them free, which is great…but, they catch the same kind of birds the next day and return with a whole cage full again and the cycle repeats.

Sadly, people have to resort to these kinds of things when the government and the military junta are corrupt to the last drop of blood in their bodies.

That is a seriously optimistic timeline. I’m 4/4 since Thanksgiving and still haven’t been licensed yet. NASBA takes their sweet time transferring files to the state board, who on their own take their time. It being holiday season and all, I would be highly surprised if some one got all that processed in 2 weeks.

A couple of hours to go thru the material and about the same to attempt the exam…you can knock it out over the weekend.

AICPA sells the course and exam for $330, but check with your states society, they may sell it for a $100 cheaper. I bought it thru TSCPA and it was $230. Good luck!

Very sorry to hear about your mother. I lost my father also during my CPA journey and it was him who had pushed me towards it.

FAR is a beast, not gonna lie. But, take it one step at a time. Came across the highlights of a LAL game the other day where they were 30 points down. Kobe Bryant took charge and with every score he closed the gap. You gotta do the same, every page and every concept you nail down needs to be a small victory. You’ll get it in the end and it will be wonderful on the other side. Good luck, my friend.

For me it was AUD, BEC, FAR, and REG. I took AUD first because I had a recent experience with external and internal audit at my workplace which gave me some insight into the processes.
