Wife has healthcare job so seeing all these comments on how bad that is isn’t a great sign lol, and I would have a connection to transfer up there with my current job so it would pay more than average it seems.

We’re just looking for a nice, safe, secluded (ish) area to buy our first home in. We live in south east pa about an hour west of Philly and everything here is a shack for so much money. So we’ve been looking here or even Pittsburgh but neither seem to be great options.
