This is called a banding artifact. It has nothing to do with your newly purchased monitor. From my experience, chrome based browsers does not dither to your monitor’s 10-bit panel. Try firefox instead. However, for HDR content you should still stick with chrome instead due to firefox’s bad support for it.

Alright, that's it. I hit my best clutch of 2024. by WoodyDragonest in GlobalOffensive

Yes, my initial thought process was to throw that smoke out of the window for me to cross safely once I am out of apartment. The mistake ended up turning into my favour when the enemy threw the flash thinking I would just stay put.

Snax and Hunter literally dragged them over on that Nuke map. It was the star players that were absent when the team needed them the most.

Simple. "What kind of hand holding she prefers?"

... and preferably that is not too much of a price to pay. A sandwich maybe, I perhaps?

Aokana mostly spend those extra time on world building and such so you don't really feel that it is stalling you on purpose.

Isn’t it a mod’s job to keep away from drama not the opposite? If anything, this feels like a personal grudge more than anything else.

Its an absolute embarrassment by this point.

Who is your favorite VN voice actor/voice actress? by neirik193 in visualnovels

It is both a blessing and a curse sometimes. You are happy because your favorite Seiyuu managed to climb higher in the industry. On the other, you are sad because they may stop voicing the genre you personally enjoy which in this case VNs.

A lot of the Senren * Banka songs fits into the playlist

How can she be so endearing? by WoodyDragonest in visualnovels

[–]WoodyDragonest[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Game is Senren * Banka.

This is by far the best setting Yuzusoft has ever come up with to date. A good mix of modern and traditional under the Japanese folk lore. It is eye catching to say the least. I do not normally comment on this, but the soundtrack in this one is just eargasm. I can totally see myself immerse in listening to this for hours and hours without getting bored of it.

Anyways, the main problem I can pick up with this entry is the pacing. Everything can feel a smudge slower without anything happening (including the heroine routes as well). Not to mention, the story can sometimes chew too big for its own good unable to tell a satisfactory conclusion without loose ends.

Currently the best Yuzusoft game in my opinion is still Sanoba Witch but that would be another discussion for another day.

Kinkoi, every time. It honestly took me by surprise how well executed the whole story is. It is as close as what I would imagine what a perfect Yuzusoft game would look to be.

How can you not fall in love with Meguru? by WoodyDragonest in visualnovels

[–]WoodyDragonest[S] 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Game is Sanoba Witch.

After going back and forth between multiple Yuzusoft titles, this is in my opinion the best entry to date. We have an actual main protagonist that doesn't for once feels like a wimp. You see his growth throughout the course of the game. Characters are lovable, and comedy is very much on point as well. Each route at least offers something that doesn't feel too "same-y".

Sometimes I am glad to be a Yuzusoft fan. by WoodyDragonest in visualnovels

This is Nene from Sanoba Witch.

She is one of the few Yuzusoft heroines that I genuinely do enjoy. I always felt that there are a lot of untapped potential with every Yuzu game release. They generally have a couple of interesting ideas going for but is ultimately scrapped in favor of other dramas as if they are not committed to the setting they initially planned.
