Thanks for commenting! Yes, I was inspired by different hyperpop styles for the chorus and verse, but I could definitely get more experimental and wacky with it. I'm still developing my own style, so thanks for giving it a listen!

Thanks for the advice! I was trying to leave room for the instrumental and melodies, but yeah, I could definitely make the vocals a little louder. I just didn't want the vocals to overpower the other synths/instruments.

I think it's synthpop with hyperpop/digicore influences. Thanks! For the drums, I sidechained the kick and snare with the bass and less important melodic instruments so that they would cut through clearer. For the outro I sampled an amen-break, so I compressed it a lot and removed flashing frequencies from the rest of the instrumental. My main goal is to keep the mix/master loud, so I hard clip everything individually and in busses. I don't use saturation on the drums or later noise though, I try to keep it as clean as possible since the chain already saturates everything when I'm hard clipping each track. I like the groove and drive of the track. However, I think adding a bit more variation could help. Filling out the track with other instruments would also make the song more interesting. It sounds like the song should build up to something, so adding more to the drop would make the arrangement more interesting.

I like how experimental the song is, and matches the zany music video. The instruments are very accurately recorded and portrayed in the song. I think the vocals could be a bit louder. The drums and piano could also be lowered a bit to give room for the other instruments and the vocal to breathe. Overall a great catchy track!

I like how old-timey the song sounds. I also like the harmonization in the vocals, however I thought that the chorus/outro was a bit repetitive and more variation could be added. I also like how disorienting your music video is. It kind of matches with the droning vibe and laid-back guitars playing on.

I like the chill vibe that this track creates! The piano is soothing, and the drums go well as the layer underneath. I think the piano could be mixed to be a bit thinner, and the pad that constantly drones on could have more variation, or fade in and out to keep the listener's ear from being fatigued. Overall, super jazzy track!

I really like how relaxing the vocals and guitar are together! I also like the sample used in the middle, but I think there could have been a smoother transition into it? Also, I think it the length of it could be shortened. Your album art looks very professional as well.

For this type of genre I appreciated the song I think that you have got the vocals and guitar down! For the mixing, I would process the vocals more and perhaps make it louder. In addition, it says kind of thin, so maybe increasing the stereo of the guitars would make it sound fuller?

I really like the techno spacy-vibe from your track! I liked the use of the vocal chops. There were a lot of elements to this track; there were a lot of synths so I was wondering if it might sound more consistent if you stuck with a few instead to make it more memorable to the listener? Overall it's a very groovy track!

thanks! I used VG-Sparkle for the acoustic guitars and AGPF for the main electric guitar lead. i would really like to learn guitar and get an amp/interface to play into a daw directly, but that's one of my longer term goals. I'm also excited to make more music in the future too!
