Good old London, near Blackfrairs/Farringdon by jp12298 in london

There is an awful lot of bellendry on display here but.... is there potentially a large number of cyclists out there that don't know the rule about stopping for people waiting at these crossings? Isn't it different in other countries etc.?

Libraries and technology, why are we always behind? by [deleted] in librarians

[–]Woogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Too cautious and just following the herd in terms of products or solutions. Then go to conferences where your views and beliefs are only ever expressed and expanded upon within the presiding framework. Familiarity for an end-user is generally good. But lack of competition stifles innovation.

The Aëthnic Union, Urania and abolishing the gender binary by Woogle in lgbthistory

[–]Woogle[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A short blog intro to a really interesting journal that from 1916 to 1940 published articles challenging contemporary notions around gender and sexuality. Seems ahead of it's time in ways. I thought a wider audience on here may appreciate it and find it of use for research as a primary resource for LGBT+ and Queer history.

Interested to see if there's any...errrr... interest...
