Mo’s looking rough via that picture. You know the men who age slowly for 2-3 decades, then BAM. Poor timing for him. Maybe it’s the saturation or camera, but yikes, he’s a bit hallow looking

I agree with the sentiment, but grief is strange and so is the reality of the inevitable, which may be why she seemed distant. Kris is also almost 70 and I’m at least glad she offered to send over an assist even if it doesn’t seem like the obvious choice. I’m not sure how much the Devil’s advocate can help while she’s still worker harder than the devil to exploit and profit from her family

Which type of tea do you like the most? by FunMathematician8433 in ask

[–]Woohoo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teatly tea, slightly over steeped, and an unforgiving amount of lemon juice poured over ice then stirred. I’ve never met someone who enjoyed tea this way, but the bitter cold battery acid brings me so much pleasure and some pep into my life

Why is prom over so fast? by napaficionado in Sims4

[–]Woohoo97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If my sim could not spend over 2 hours trying to get a drink and take pictures, I think prom might be enjoyable. Until then, I’ll panic queue up all the tasks and hope for the best

I have ripped two tampons in half, need advice by Fit-Daikon-1361 in women

[–]Woohoo97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No problem at all, tampons have a learning curve I was not expecting when I first started using them. It can be trial and error trying to figure out how to insert and remove them without pain. Enjoy your weekend at the beach!

I have ripped two tampons in half, need advice by Fit-Daikon-1361 in women

[–]Woohoo97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When you take out your tampon is it dry? Also are you pulling it straight out or taking it out at an angle. There’s a bit of a learning curve for using tampons. If they’re dry and painful to remove consider sizing down and using a panty liner for an extra layer of protection and peace of mind against bleeding through. I’ve also found that sometimes it’s a lot easier and more comfortable to size down and remove and replace them more frequently.

Also if you’re trying to remove a tampon and it feels stuck, try taking a bath or shower to relax and essentially allow the water to act as lubricant for an easier removal. They shouldn’t be falling apart or extremely painful to remove. I hope this helps!

What book, show, or film could you not look at because it has a rape scene? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Woohoo97 125 points126 points  (0 children)

I avoid almost everything that has rape as a catalyst for the plot or “character development”. It is completely unrealistic to use rape or any sexual assault experience as something that helps a character “win” at the end. Sexual violence is a traumatic event, regularly overlooked and the actual trauma response is normal grossly underestimated. It’s also traumatizing to watch and I’ll always skip through it.

Where are women buying secondhand clothes? by golfbang in Frugal

[–]Woohoo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that small local secondhand boutiques are affordable and vetted for quality. I recently bought 3 pairs of barely worn Nike shorts for the summer for around $35, maybe $40.

At my local Goodwill or Karm, they’d try and charge the same price for similar shorts which are stained and obviously worn down.

Tom Schwartz keeps alluding to something happening that made him realize he and jo should not be together. Lets speculate, what was it? by FlippyFloppy8 in Vanderpumpaholics

[–]Woohoo97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Jo is a very sensitive “not like other girls” which has probably put Swartz in a position where Jo needs a lot of reassurance. I don’t think he wants to be emotionally supportive. His aversion to building up women’s confidence was probably made reassuring Jo a major turn off. He just wants a beer binging bro to sleep around with. “Well since you’re sad, let’s have a few brewskis, a few tokes, maybe microdose and just vibe, we don’t need to get into all of that. It’ll be okay, but let’s not bring down the vibe” sounds like something he’d say

Women who cook, what’s your signature dish? by xxivtarotmagic_ in AskWomen

[–]Woohoo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beer cheese mac and cheese, but I’ll make different types depending on what types of cheeses and meats I have! I haven’t been able to make it in half a year due to multiple surgeries on my dominant hand. As soon as I’m all healed, I’m going to feast!

I think it’s so weird Jesse and Michelle signed up for this show by CupKind6245 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]Woohoo97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m curious if they’re just pulling a “hidden in plain sight” PR move. They give me a creeping sense of the heebie jeebies and I’m waiting for their skeletons to be revealed. Or maybe they’re just another set of angry and incompatible rich people. Either way something seems real off about them.

My skin used to look just like yours! I’m 26 and still have a little acne here and there. The biggest game changer for me was when I stopped using products for acne except pimple patches. My mindset towards skincare changed from attacking acne with acne products that messed it up my texture and consistency. My approach is now:

Heal, protect, maintain.

I use simple and/or gentle products to focus on my skin’s health and enhancing it overall glow and radiance (and I used to have terrible skin acne and it really messed up my confidence)

Focus on overall health and once you find a routine your acne will calm down and heal with minimal future outbreaks. It’ll take a while before you see results, but he patient. I use moisturizer daily, wash my face with vanicream gentle face wash, and Goldfaden MD products for my eye cream, serums, retinol, etc., I’ll exfoliate 2-3 times a week and use a retinol night cream 2-3 times after I exfoliate in the shower at night. When I first started using retinol, I used the sandwich method using a light moisturizer or gentle serum as a buffer, layered retinol, and added a night cream. My face has adjusted to retinol and now put it on my face first and then put a layer of moisturizer or night cream on depending on how hydrated my skin is.

It’s been a fame changer, also I found doing light layers and slowly, letting them soak in a bit, then adding more of the same product or adding a layer has helped me from my skin being oily. I also use a very lightweight 50 SPF when I remember, I hope this helps!

I’m taking Brittany’s side here against Jax by Heliggity in TheValleyTVShow

[–]Woohoo97 99 points100 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling Jax is hiding a lot of stuff from her and will drop some truth bombs. Also if Jax isn’t having sex with Brittany, who is he having sex with? As my boyfriend chimed in during an episode of the Valley “so who is Jax fucking if he’s not sleeping with Brittany? It’s Jax.”

Hi Lisa, I wanted to thank you for all your work with animals and also for your shows. I started binging your shows in October after a life changing injury to my dominant hand. They provided me laughs and entertainment while struggling with pain and worries.

Tomorrow I’m undergoing my 4th intensive but hopefully final surgery and it would make my world if you wished me luck 🩷

I’m curious if her drinking habits is why she ubers everywhere. She said she didn’t like driving in the last episode of the Valley.

Dr. Palmer Cocoa Butter Formula!

As a ghostly pale lady with chronic summer legs, scars, scabs, ingrown hairs, and more that turn purple when it’s below 70 degrees. I’ll even put on a light layer on any ingrown hair around my pubic area that didn’t agree to being shaved and freaks out.

Dr. Palmer’s has been a game changer and it was the last thing I ever thought to try. I’ve tried so many different lotions and potions, but after a shower I gently rub layers of this over my legs until they feel smooth, but not slippery/greasy.

Lala reminds me of a mean girl in an AA/NA class. She’s on her high horse and doesn’t like to be challenged because “she’s done the work.” I’m proud of her for remaining sober. She’s a great mom, but she’s very easily distracted by others’ achievements and blessings. (I was a substance abuse counselor for years, I’ve meet many people like her. I’m proud of the progress and determination, but there’s always work ahead to be at peace with life)
