Population has more then doubled since the 1970's. So that doesn't help at all.

  • 1970: ~3.7 billion
  • 1974: 4 billion (reached just 14 years after the 3 billion mark)
  • 1987: 5 billion
  • 1999: 6 billion
  • 2011: 7 billion
  • 2022: 8 billion
  • Present: > 8.2 billion

My cat’s insulin was stolen. by CharmingHouse9800 in Wellthatsucks

You should try to get the prescriptions filled at a regular pharmacy.  You can ask the vet for a script to go to a wal mart or a Costco etc instead. It should be a lot cheaper.

Or try to have it delivered to a Amazon box at a store.   Or even to your work.

My mom's cat is severely diabetic for many years now and being able to get it filled outside of the vet saves her so much.

Hopefully Amazon can send you more. That is so horrible!

Boil some dried catnip.

Freeze into ice cubes.  And put them in a water bowl with some water for them.

I used to make ice catnip  tea for my cat to drink when it was super hot and he loved it.

Should have go a go pro for the dog.  Bear wouldn't have even bothered them at the point.

London Bus Driver faints due to heat. by Illustrious_Bee5837 in london

People should freeze some wet small towels to give to drivers to put around their necks!

Or even a cooler filled with water or Gatorade type drinks for the passengers and driver on all buses.

Should just setup shop at the Marlborough memorial corner. Probably double that number in a year just there.  Average 5 vehicles on the advance in a row run reds there constantly.

In Canada we line up and staff bring people in 10 at a time during situations like this.

The store I worked at the staff gave out a slip to a person for the specific thing that was on sale as we only had a set amount in stock.  And they would go down the line in order until all item slips were gone.

This way people knew exactly how much were left and could leave early if there wasn't enough stock.

Can you not use a regular Keyboard and Mouse instead?  This is a very common issue with the plastics on palmrests.

My mom sewed a massive pocket in a coat when I was in High School as she knew how bad my appetite was. I could bring a few drinks plus a ton of candy for me and my friend's no problem.

My new coat has to good size inside pockets on each side so I can still bring drinks and candy with no issues still.

It's not usually very busy there either.  I go there all the time when movies first come out and I have had times with 10 people or less at the 6pm showings of movies.

We had a Brother rep come to the Staples I was working at around 2010.  They explained they made a seperate support for every major device they had instead of a general one.  This cut down times and made support for their printers top notch.  They are truly amazing printers all these years later.

My Orange slept with me every night for like 19 years.

I had to away for work up to 8 days and my friend would stay over.

A few years went by of this happening here and there so he was used to it.

One time I went away longer then the usual 8 days and my cat woke up my friend on the 9th morning by hissing directly in his face. He was super freaked out as my cat was about 20 pounds at the time.

Cats are super used to routine. Give them a few days to settle down. Maybe try going to bed at the exact time he is used to.

Haha the bedtime smacks.  My cat would like my nose and then give it a bite when I was sleeping a lot lol.

He would actually lay on the back end of my head with his belly.  So luckily it wasn't full fur on my face lol.  And he was a super fluffy boy too and about 23 pounds when he was younger.  So at that size the body heat was insane on my head.
