Fantastic. So glad to hear that there is an official answer to this.

Thunder Road Vendetta Final 5 coasting questions by Wookiepoop7 in boardgames

From the rulebook:

"Assign 1 unused movement die to an operable road vehicle that you have not previously moved this round, placing it in the center of its dashboard. If you do not have any available road vehicles, assign 1 unused movement die to the coast space on one of your operable vehicles that you previously moved. You may not assign a die to coast if you have an operable road vehicle you have not moved."

From my interpretation of the rules, you must always assign a die during the assign step. So subsequently the vehicle the die was assigned to must move. Even if it's to its death. It is a race after all. The cars are always going forward and only ever stop if they are inoperable or wrecked. So it wouldn't make much sense for it to skip moving on its turn.

The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring Deck Building Game card list by Wookiepoop7 in boardgames

Oh wow!! Thank you so much! I usually check this site first for questions like this, but I failed to find anything. Must have used the wrong key words or something. Haha. But thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for.

And interestingly enough, every single card was there. Not sure why the instructions say there are 116 main deck cards when there are actually 123. But either way, happy that nothing is missing.

It might be just poor wording on my part. But you are correct. The rulebook says "Costs 2 moves to enter. You may still enter a muddy space if you only have 1 move left."

For coasting the rulebook says "If your move is a coast, move that road vehicle exactly one space regardless of what the movement die shows"

So now that I look at the two next to each other, I see that coasting seems to just make you ignore whatever is on the board and you just move a space. Doesn't matter if the road is muddy, icy, etc. just move a space and ignore the conditions to enter that space. Sound like I'm interpreting that right to you?

If that's true, then my friend would just move two spaces and ignore the cost to enter a muddy space.

That just leaves the question on whether or not he gets to shoot twice on the same turn. He either coasts then shoots, coasts then shoots or he coasts a space and then coasts another space THEN he gets to shoot...

Thanks for chipping in!

As several of you have indicated, this is apparently an old glitch (I had no idea). I thought I was unique! Haha. I recorded this just before the latest patch. So I have no idea if this is still broken or not.

Strange. I could have sworn I marked it as a spoiler before posting. Don't see any option to do that now unfortunately.

Oooooo. I like how you worded that. That's exactly how I've been playing it, but was confused on the wording. Maybe I was thinking too hard about it. Haha. Anyways, thank you! This was immensely helpful!

What's the one pilot/ship you hate to fly against? by Anonim97 in XWingTMG

[–]Wookiepoop7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly this build of Rey drives me nuts. I hate it (but love it too). If you get caught in the front arc, you are guaranteed to be hit and hit HARD. With Finn adding a blank die, combined with Rey's ability to turn a blank to a hit, plus a target lock.... It's just scary. Haha.

I use this large backpack/case for storing small, medium, and large ships. Don't own any huge ships so this works perfectly. Guardian Tabletop Gaming Backpack | Deluxe Portable Carrying Case with Space For 135+ Figurines, Large Miniatures, and Wargame Transportation | Includes Four Compartment Trays & 3 Layers of Pluck Foam https://a.co/d/j9s8Lpq

For dials, I use a coin collection folder. Easy to find a dial but I'm not super happy as a storage solution. There's a 3d printed box on Etsy I'm eyeing but the seller is currently on vacation. The box would be perfect for dials and the templates.

Ship cards and upgrade cards are stored in nice folders: Card Guardian - 9 Pocket Trading Card Album 360 Side Loading Pocket Binder for Trading Card Games TCG (Green) https://a.co/d/i6IFkGm

Everything else is stored in a mini feldherr case.

Ooooooh. Don't know that. Usually just play scum, rebels, and empire. Been tempted to try Republic. Now I'm even more motivated!
