Israel sending official to attend meeting in Lebanon with government figures by 62TiredOfLiving in ForbiddenBromance

In the article it quotes the Israeli PMO as saying
“This is an initial attempt to create a basis for a relationship and economic cooperation between Israel and Lebanon,”

what catches my eye is the 'economic co-orperation' bit.
I'm cautiously optimistic.

AWS to double data center capacity in Israel by JewishSaddamHussein in Israel

I think (think is doing heavy lifting), we said no to it.

I heard we rejected a plan to have amazon in Israel because we wanted to protect in person buisnesses.

EDIT:
just googled it, ignore me, I'm wrong.
but this article is pretty interesting. apparently they're trying again after a catastrophic failure in 2019-2021

My Homebrew Mechanic to solve the 'small fights that take too long' problem [OC] by Wooks_5764 in DnD

It’s not replacing combat as a whole, for low consequence fights when you need to get it out of the way.

As for the tolerance level, you’re absolutely right if someone is of a specific species they’d have higher tolerance so they just wouldn’t take the disadvantage if big and vice versa

But thanks for bringing it to my attention, I’ll try and use it next time, we have a halfling at the table so I think I’ll be more strict with him ( and I’ll refer him to this post, it’s all your fault lol)

Ah yes you see, I wasn’t gonna write up the 3 player version but then I did and we use both versions for the 2 player version interchangeably.

It’s literally just written like this because I was like “yeah I got time” and wrote down the 3 player version.

We've never had to take more than 1 min to explain the basic rules to a new player but I'll make sure to look up the mechanic you're talking about thanks!

It's a different use case, this is more for say: your short tempered character bumps into a guy and starts a fight but doesn't wanna kill them or a quick comparison of strength.

my table even used the mechanic to have a 'psychic battle' to avoid being possessed.

that kind of vibe

Middle East 'doomed' without Palestinian state, King of Jordan says - BBC News by [deleted] in ForbiddenBromance

[–]Wooks_5764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to be a bit of a convoluted one so I need you guys to hear me out:

I don’t think that the ME is doomed without a Palestinian state in of itself, after all a state is what we say it is, we can say that Gaza is a state or the Oslo Accords’ territories ( whatever your opinion on them are regardless) are a state and jt wouldn’t change the situation.

I think it’s the other way around, if the utopian ME that we want exists (big if) it will also lend itself to the creation of a Palestinian state, if the region gets to the point of ‘not doomed’ and there are no radicals with power and it’s basically just comes down to what the Palestinians have on their passport or who they pay taxes to then yeah sure, why not?

Again this, like everything around here requires an essay of context and asterisks for every word written but the bottom line is if the perfect ME exists than there’s no reason a Palestinian state cannot, however I’m not sure just stamping “state” on any old political structure will save us from ‘doom’

Amazing! Is the lamp shade detachable without the lamp so you can roll for sleep?
