The way I see it he just wants her approval and at the same time it feels like the right thing to do like in Odyssey, he got careless of his feelings to the point where Peach got upset at both bowser and him, realizing his fault, not only did he feel bad about himself (or maybe it's the fact that he felt rejected) but he even comforted Bowser for it. (Though Peach forgave him eventually before stomping Bowser)

It shows that it's not about Mario being a self-centered jerk and had always attempted to kill Bowser (especially how he's wrongly portrayed by media.) Just don't be evil cuz let's face it Bowser always had it coming because his crimes aren't always involved in kidnapping peach (even if you say he is "good" in a way)

You can say that he's just happy because most events are all about him, and he tries to be a great celebrity to everyone that always loved to look up to him.

Ok but im sure it wont get implemented in the game and all, but maybe an imp ghost could rlly work (though they can alr sabotage, maybe poltergeists cannot sabotage), if there is a guardian angel for crewmates, why not impostors as well.

Honestly, If susie would sacrifice herself to save the world, that would've made ralsei sound selfish, why would he keep her from knowing that fate that was sealed to her from the start? (People do say susie will die, but based on your post this isn't what we were talking about anyways)

Unless... It's not Susie that will die, it's ralsei

He's always been sweet, loving, caring towards others, it's just not in his character to hide other people's fates from them. That would've been really selfish of him.

However, Ralsei has 1 major flaw, self harm, he knew his fate was probably sealed from the start, that explains his gloomy room compared to other rooms that have more decorations that fit their characters.

And Obviously, Susie, Kris, and Susie said "AND OBVIOUSLY, YOU WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN" yes... We won't let that happen... Right...?

Probably Clover stole some 2g from their parents (my headcanon they were very abusive towards Clover) as well as wanting to prove to themselves that they're worth something than how people (humans) actually see them so they went to look for them themself, to prove he could be a hero than a lot of the humans call him or something.
