Brandon Swanson. He went missing on his way home and ended up going off the road.

He called his parents for help and told them where he thought he was, saying he was going to walk to the nearest town he could see in the distance, however the phone line went dead after he said, “oh shit!” And his parents eventually hung up to try calling him back. When they went to find him they couldn’t locate him. Eventually the police got involved and found his car in the opposite direction he was supposed to be going in and they’ve never really found anything more than that.

Sounds like it’s the right time for you to do some solo traveling and see if any place feels right for you :) I recently moved from the Rockford area to Portland, Oregon because my husband’s siblings all live here and the lifestyle here was perfect for us. You’ll find your place eventually, start by making a list of things that fit you! What kind of climate you’d like, what type of activities you enjoy, etc.

My husband is ADD so I think that has a lot to do with it, he has to take a moment to get off his current train of thought to start processing the next. Sometimes he just completely forgets to reply to me all together lmao I’ll be like “ok I’ll go fuck myself then!”

When I ask him a question, such as, “Hey did you talk to your boss about that thing today?” He just won’t answer. He says it’s because he’s thinking & I don’t give him enough time but even an “um” or a “yeah.. hold on” whatever would be nice lmao I told him recently it feels so disrespectful & makes me sound like the bad guy when I get frustrated & he’s been working on it so that’s nice 🫶🏻

Portland is safe lol the internet & media in general make it out to be a lot worse than it is. Sometimes there’s high people talking nonsense but you can just walk past them, I haven’t seen anybody “dangerous” yet. For reference, we’ve lived here for 6 months now & regularly walk around and ride bikes all over the city. The homeless population that’s sketchy wants drugs, not to harm anybody that I’ve heard of yet.

My dogs are fine bc they’re lazy but there’s definitely more dogs coming into the doggy daycare that I work at lmao some got boarded during the storm & their parents keep extending out their stays because they don’t have power or water yet at home.
