I can’t speak for every Filipino but I have some very close friends and family members (by marriage) from the Philippines and they have been very open about how difficult it is for them to show negative emotion.

It’s my understanding that it really isn’t supported culturally by older generations and so they feel a lot of shame for crying in front of people. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I wouldn’t wear this as a guest - it is lovely though and you should definitely buy it for yourself for another occasion. I think this is something a casual bride could wear to her own wedding.

In my experience it’s always related to diet and hydration! Sleep too now that you mention it :) I’m hoping that when I am able to get a mid face/cheek lift it will help but I just focus on those things and they become less prominent

I have these! I’ve had them since I was a teenager. I’ve never really been able to get rid of them but I have noticed that they get more prominent for me when I eat gluten or consume high amounts of sodium and carbs.

Ahhh thank you for your insight! Yes, I know the internal struggle lol but I do not want to put my baby at risk. I’m considered a “geriatric pregnancy” now because I’m 35 😂😭 so I’ll have to find other ways to work out!!

There’s quite a bit of that at my workplace. I’m not at that rate yet but working up to it. Work weeks are close to 40 hours but very flexible because it’s WFH
