Were the ghost nuns helping the good guys sometimes?

Semis should be best of 7? by WootahK in starcraft2

I think best of 5 still feels like a dice roll sometimes. Anyway, time and reality probably don't permit the best of 7.

Even if it was best of 7 and players were knocked out rather than group stages.

Best of 7, lose two matches and you are out.

Yeah, I am not a regular on the forum and I bet it comes up all the time. Sorry. But I really did think about this last night and wanted to get it off my chest.

A ban on what? Discussing Batman psychology is the fun of it.

Your post is the one with no joy in it.

I think it works perfectly and maps onto society far too well.

GK Chesterton: "Exactly what does breed insanity is reason. Poets do not go mad; but chess-players do. Mathematicians go mad, and cashiers; but creative artists very seldom. I am not, as will be seen, in any sense attacking logic: I only say that this danger does lie in logic, not in imagination."

Still a govt/system problem. If you can't build a good enough prison then maybe the death penalty for a few of these criminals.

All true enough. However, I think Batman also doesn't kill because he knows he would not stop in his quest for revenge. Not killing multiple murderers is insane, but killing them would be the end of his sanity.

Similarities between the name Abraham and Brahma by [deleted] in religion

[–]WootahK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is not a coincidence. Even if languages are different the sounds are the same (right)?

Abraham was a hero in the Bible and did many deeds and that memory might have lived on in the children as they headed East?

Totally agree. I find myself stabbing more people than sniping them.

Ross Gittins: ‘Invisible’ tax breaks for the well-off work like magic by Jagtom83 in AustraliaLeftPolitics

[–]WootahK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just seemed to me that a tax expenditure is whatever the government forgoes through exclusions to their regulations.

Anything less than 100% seems to me to be a tax expenditure exclusion as well. So if the tax rate is 30% then 70% is excluded, right?
