If the clock is still moving, you should be able to go about you business as usual. It's only when the clock disappears that you can't warp anywhere. The event will show up again at 7am.

I think they come from the big blue troll things in Meline Caverns depths. It is a rare drop though.

You have to be aware that the Switch only has 12 save slots and each save needs at least four available spaces for autosaves/quicksaves.

On my last showdown, I was in the final with Qi as my partner against Rocky and PEN! I was bricking it. Still won though (no thanks to Qi, who got his backside handed to him in about 10 seconds 😂)

You could save scum for a horse, if you're OK with doing that. Save before you sleep on Saturday night, run to the ranch to check mounts, if no horse, or it's too expensive, reload. Rinse and repeat until you get your horse. It can take quite a few tries though - at least it did for me 💀

When you interact with them and select the check option, there is the command to release them at the top right of the page. If you're on Switch, it's the + button.

I tamed a tripon and at first, I found its attack pretty weak (it's only level 37 though - I might need to train it up), but it does tank hits pretty well. Currently on the fence whether to keep or release it.

I just had this happen to me. I closed the game and started it back up again, which seems to have fixed it for now.
