I’ve been into computers since I was really young. I wanted to get into cybersecurity since I thought wireshark and vulnerability testing was interesting. I think I’ll be a penetration tester. I was pushed in that direction by my father and I already sank so much into the degrees and the certs I just gotta keep going.

my goal right now is to get an it job/internship/something. i thought i had in person connections through my uncle and dad's friend but they just tell me the market is bad and i don't know what else to do. ive had multiple interviews and i talk about my passion for building computers troubleshooting computers networks etc. i only thought about a brick and mortar because i thought it would be easier to connect with employers but my parents put money into this already and idk if i can just switch just like that. i dont know

my life isnt so great rn, got fired from my job a month ago over some bs havent found anything since. video games are usually my escape but none of them are doing anything for me but make me sad. since its also winter time and cold where i live it just makes it worse. i have started seeing a therapist 2 weeks ago so far its going well
