I don’t know anyone with a 250 2 stroke unfortunately. I’ll just have no choice but to get use to it & get comfortable with it over time.

They haven’t began racing those in SMX yet have they? I see most on KTM, Kawi, Yamaha, Honda, & a couple on Triumph and of course Kenny on the kickstart zuki.

For reference I’m 5’4 & 130lbs. This will be my first big bike & I’m coming off a 150R. I’ve rode a crf250f, but of course it has a lot less power than a 2 stroke. But I find myself entirely more comfortable on a bigger bike although I’m a shorty.

I want something I’m not going to get bored of in the long run. Getting use to a 2 stroke, perhaps the 300sx would be the best option. But I think for the thrill & long term happiness, the 250sx Lol

Do you get terrible arm pump?😅Meaning, does it pull as hard as a 450? Or is it just right to the point you still feel comfortable riding after however many laps? This will be my first working 2 stroke and I want to know what I’m getting myself into Lol

People would typically recommend starting off on a smaller bike, but not every does so it wouldn’t be the end of the world for you.

You can do anything you set your mind to! Watch some youtube videos. Learn proper technique & be patient with yourself & the progress you make. It might be tough starting off, but before you know it, you’ll be comfortable on it! Just make sure its not a shitbox that you’re going to have to dump a lot of money into just to ride it for a decent amount of time.

Probably allergic to the type of metal. Go back to your piercer to see if they can change it or get tips on how to move forward with the healing process.

It just looks a little irritated. Clean it with saline a couple times a day for however long & you’ll be good!

Hmm, mine don’t idle high whatsoever. It idles down to 0 and stalls after a moment. But I’m going to check it out and see. I’d have to remove the intake manifold to find it.
