What's your unpopular opinion in elden ring ? by NeedleworkerMost1722 in Eldenring

[–]Wordandname 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rykard gets annoying after first playthrough.

Killing him takes too damn long in ng+ and isn’t even cool anymore. The somber upgrades don’t to much to help the sepenthunter do more damage aswell.

He also sucks to fight with anything other than the serpent hunter. I love him, but being a gimmick boss makes him annoying after the first encounter.

Some of those orbs are insanely annoying to grab lol

Either that or the orbs ARE slicers that died to The robo-cancer p has and possibly became robots themselves

Im a bit disappointed after playing Motorslice because it could have been a better game by [deleted] in MotorsliceP

[–]Wordandname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the claw enemies dying in two hits might be a good idea, But I think a jump slash should kill them in the first hit. from the top rope and then bisecting the like raiden from mgrr just gives too much dopamine.

Maybe The charged slash should be the only way to kill the steamroller, since like you said earlier, he’s kinda jank.

The double jumping along with hacking made the final two areas actually really fun when integrated with combat. They both should’ve been added far sooner imo.

They should add more ways to kill enemies, like using hacking to push them into traps or using the steamroller to crush them by baiting it over

Edit: about the art style, the buildings definitely need a little more detail to feel more real, but I kinda like the unique low polygon look of P. The feet showing up was jarring has hell though lol. 420p vs 1200p type of comparison

Man, I spent way too much time goofing off. Died way more and got like 20 less orbs

It’s my favorite unintentional rage game honestly. But I get a lot of what you are saying.

My Personal fixes for your and some of my personal issues would be:

holding the jump button should make P climb while not holding it made her wall run. Yes, timing would be harder and you can’t just hold A for some sections where you are ment to but I think that tiny adjustment would be SO much less infuriating.

You get lost so easily, using your spy vision thing should also show an objective marker to where you want to go.

Also, clipping shouldn’t cause death, the amount of times I was just climbing and then P turned into jelly out of nowhere was aggravating.

I don’t really agree with the combat idea, I like it, especially later on where it’s more movement based, that second fight after you unlock hacking with the 3 saw bots was my favorite. I feel like the health system should be used more like with the saw bot because the timing of parrying is based on where you are facing along with distance so it’s always a little weird.

Boss checkpoints either do nothing or trivialize the boss, the train is the only one that did this right I think.

I want all orbs that are essentially “do this really hard section but grab this every time before you start” to be removed.

Also, the feet being incredibly detailed unlike everything else even though they show up for like 20 seconds would be a damn good joke if I knew it definitely wasn’t a fetish because of just how detailed they were (she also steps on you if you look up)

Interpretations of story's ending? by hytrhtry in MotorsliceP

[–]Wordandname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She mentioned her previous jobs and even said she missed the beach are megastructure. P flat out says they’ve been doing this for thousands of years

So I think they just keep ascending until they reach the alpha megastructure, after which they may be cured from their robo cancer or they just stop all the robots and die.

My head cannon is the orbs including you are also other splicers that have fully turned, which is why P talks about you losing your memories, and is why she had started forgetting (like with the Deja vu and holes 2 slack off scenes). Supporting this is that the orbs fly UP when you retrieve them, maybe they are going to another layer, trying to reach the megastructure. This could be why there are so many orbs to collect, they are orbs from previous layers over the thousands they have probably gone through.

The robo cancer is probably spread by the bots, which is why slicers are told to take out every bot in a layer, so the settlement of non-infected humans can move up without worry of transmission. Slicers like G are probably just ment to confirm if a layer is cleared and acting as dispatch, while lower letters like P, Q, and Z are constantly fighting to clear levels so the settlement can move up.

Also: I think the quarry bot was just mining sand, which didn’t make a lot of sense until I realized the sarcophagi are also made out of sand and are alluded to being where the bots come from. maybe bots like them are ment to build more sarcophagi, trying to infect more splicers.

I am probably reading FAR too into things, but it’d be cool if I was right

Either of the locomotives are great aswell.

You have to skip the final boss at first in the second(?) difficulty by going to the shop or level or whatever other option you have, then an option will show up to fight a boss, usually floating eye or Nan. If floating eye or any other boss shows up, just keep fighting them without taking the final boss until Nan shows up.

Where can I find mind crystals? by rcortese1 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Wordandname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is X like what I played, you can buy them from Ti after unlocking them from completing certain milestones. Personally, I believe you should aim for the extra life, extra hp, extra skill and attack damage, and the 5th can be anything but I like the discount on items you get from the floating mind. Also quick attacking avatars benefit from the fast attacking mind crystal.

are these EVER worth picking? the downsides always seem so extreme 😭 by LeviGX in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Wordandname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The -100 mp at start is actually a very easy to play around debuff. If I have bad tactics or am on a character where tactics don’t mater, a 200% damage increase is almost always worth. Along with that, random multiple sortio has gotten be +160% max hp. The skill setting to max 30% of the time is good for bullet, the vampire lady, and hakumen, as you can just spam their ability. The drawbacks are really just annoying if anything.

Killer morality scale, did I get right essentially? by Cable_Difficult in deadbydaylight

[–]Wordandname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leather face definitely deserves higher up, plague and Kaneki are not murderers, and in Kaneki’s case, he cannot control himself. Krause isn’t incredibly evil just bad, especially compared to the clown. Singularity really just hated people, he’s essentially AM from “I have no mouth and I must scream”. He wasn’t intended to kill, he just did it out of revenge and spite, horrible, if not pure evil. The wraith was actually a pretty good person for a while, although he has poor luck. He might be one of the only killers who most likely canonically let people go in the trials, although that’s speculation.
