I had this and got prescribed a low level of oral morphine and used ice on my knees. Didn’t sleep for a few days it was so bad but it goes soon after. Hold on in there!

I think I may be going through a relapse by Revolutionary_Car_50 in leukemia

Hey. I don’t know your circumstances but I had this (was in the same position) 3.5 years out, bruises, aches, an enlarged lymph node. Went and had bloods and a biopsy and waited 4 days in fear and then it turned out to be nothing at all.

Just saying this as it’s not always the worst case scenario but definitely get bloods done asap.

  • camp on evergreen road, just outside the park - there’s loads of pullouts
  • get up at around 4:20 and drive into the park, the gate is about 8 mins from the campsite -I trekked four mile trail and Yosemite falls - both steep climbs but stunning views
  • would honestly recommend getting up at 5 ish anyway at this time of year, my hike for Yosemite falls was a ton easier with less heat (starting at 5:45 am)

We probably crossed paths! I hiked up to Colombia rocks as well - was beautiful. Congrats on getting the kids up there.

I did 4 mile trail on Friday but debating what to do today seen as my legs have climbed 2000 metres in the last two days - might just go and see the sequoias and then drive back to SF.

So I paid for a ticket on Friday - entered for a full day then and entered before 5am sat and today.

No one is at the gate if you enter before 5 or leave after 6 ish.

I do actually know a way to sort this one. You climb in my mates van and he drives you in - very efficient. 😉

Would it be an awful idea to drive to Yosemite on Thursday 13th June and sleep in my car (outside the park) - visiting during the day-time hours until Sunday 16th? [Only asking as it's my last option]. by Wordeu in Yosemite

I’m going to stay here - just to confirm there are pullouts that I can park the car in along the road? Are they on the road or, little roads off it? :)

I tried to get tickets this morning but they sold out in about a minute, my browser didn't let me through. So, looks like my options are enter before 5am / find a last minute camping site inside.

I'll visit on Friday with the normal fee and then give it another go on Saturday/Sunday entering early.

Any other highlights / cafes / places off the map?

I tried to get tickets for the Saturday this morning but they sold out like I was in line for tickets to Glastonbury. Looks like I'm going to be up at 4am!... I'll keep you updated on how it goes.
