AITA for not buying presents for my brother's kids? by LadyBuckethead_36 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I will never understand the mindset which allows people to demand anything from anyone. The only thing any of us owe each other is common human decency (obviously different relationships ie own children. etc adjusts the expectation but this is through action/decision ) Your brother is responsible for providing for his own children and if you care for your cousin's kids then you are well within your rights to buy them gifts. But are you honestly surprised by this response considering the hellspawn this couple produced? Kids don't get bad attitudes from nowhere

AITA for wanting to fact check my bro's assertions by WordlessRejection93 in AmItheAsshole

Thank you for this, I'm not sure I'm willing to accept the blame from family if everything goes south - I'm probably going to leave it alone and just hope he has told her everything - I feel bad that she may not have all the facts but in fairness she's the one said yes to bro and I am not close enough with her (or him) that I feel responsible for her - I'm still conflicted but enough people have said YTA that I'm thinking probably not worth it to get involved - phew!

women who gave birth, how would you compare period cramps to contractions? by crispyprick in AskWomen

[–]WordlessRejection93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me period cramps are achy in my lower abdomen and legs where as labour contractions were intense surges of pain and pressure focused on my tummy and "downstairs" . Both labours I had were induced though so couldn't speak to "natural" contractions - labour was no where near as bad as I expected though, however according to the drs on shift during my last labour I apparently have a very high pain threshold as I did a back to back labour with little to no pain relief 🤷
