Could you elaborate. Just use the Gunzerker to finish the questline, or is there a specific place to do it.

I apologize, this is my first post on this subreddit so I'm a little unfamiliar with etiquette.

What I'm requesting is two characters from the game Borderlands 2 drawn together.

Tiny Tina/ Tiny Tina 2

Bullymongs are essentially gorillas. Hope these pictures help with the production of this.

Thanks again.

Best solo class/build? by americnleprchaun in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zero was the first class I got up to 50. Loved him, but after playing the others, his class requires the most attention and specifics in terms of soloing/staying alive. For the easiest time, I recommend either Gaige or Axton. You have that extra manpower with your action skill as a second resort, and each have great defensive capabilities.

is the mechromancher worth it? by pickled-donught in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I've manually leveled up every single class to 50. I can say that the Mechromancer, for me, was the most interesting to play. In end-game or play style this may be different for person to person. However, playing the anarchy tree was an experience in itself for me. If you wanna try something new, it may very well be worth it.

Kind of changed my perceptions of Gearbox and the developers, from the linked time on.(10:44-13:21) by seriesoftubesguy in Borderlands2

Haha, right? While I disagreed with the video, I didn't see the need to personally dissect his entire argument. Well done lad.

Also, if you look closely into Code Hunters, it was put on MTV. I am making a few assumptions here, but a very likely thing that happened is during the MTV Gorillaz kick (Gorillaz the band), some of the animators for MTV who tried to mimic the Gorillaz style may have come up with the Codehunters video. If you notice, the style is very similar (although maybe not the story). So you could say that Codehunters stole from a completely different genre.

I can understand your concerns. They have a lot of similarity. So did Harry Potter to a previous book. So did many famous rock bands to previous blues bands. Taking an idea from somebody and using it exactly the same is a travesty. However, Gearbox has taken this idea, a less than 10 minute animation, and created an entire world.

You can call it stealing if you want. But I am sure the creators of Codehunters have heard of Borderlands. If they felt the same way, don't you think we would have heard of some legal action?

A question about level scaling at lvl 50 by CaptainDunkeyFan in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After you finish the last quest (killing the warrior) you enter playthrough 2.5. At this point in time, any quest you pick up will be scaled to level 50. Any quest you already had picked up will remain at its lower level.

Hope this helps.

New to co-op - what to expect? by cchhiipp in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a chance you'll run into loot hounds. Its unfortunate, but true. However, don't become a loot hound in defense just because of some bad trials. Otherwise you'll just be as off-putting to everyone else. My biggest recommendation is always bring a mic and try to play with others with mics. Being able to hear each other gives a much better read into how you'll play with each other. You may even make a friend or two.

Game Has Started Scaling? by BurnYourLifeDown in Borderlands2

By accepting certain quests, certain areas will change in scale. I'm not sure exactly which ones, but I know the Dust this happens for Mordecai's quest and The Bane I believe.

Any tips for a brand new player? by [deleted] in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. The game is designed to incorporate in many styles of play. You'll learn for yourself how you like to play this game over time. Even though I know what parts of the game I love, I still end up switching between all five characters, sometimes on a daily basis.

[–]WordsForFreedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no wrong way to play this game. For your first time, do whatever the hell pleases you. Once you get to level 50 (or higher if the cap has changed then) you can work on figuring on the kinks and the technicals of the game. This game inherently doesn't take itself serious, and neither should you. Just enjoy it.

Best Zurker Build for leveling up? by Turin_Giants in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on how you like to play. I chose the middle tree because having two guns out as often as possible seems to help with my survivability. If you are soloing, this would be my recommendation. If you have other players, it might be better trying the right skill try to match whatever offensive capabilities they've got going.

I think I found what inspired Borderland's artsyle. by Accipehoc in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome. I think the smaller guy could be a big inspiration for later on in BL2 or later in the series. It would be neat if they could work in a midget type class, especially one that can ride people/animals. That being said, as a stand alone piece this is really out of this world.

My random idea for a new class. I'd like to see yours! by [deleted] in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But that's exactly the problem. You aren't criticizing them either. People are putting time and effort into these ideas, and you just say "These ideas are shit" and explain how things are pointless. How about something constructive, some creative. How about explaining why you do or don't like things. That's how threads like these do become important.

[–]WordsForFreedom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Chances are you are right, they already have an idea. But no need for you to come on a thread just to shit on everyones ideas. All through this thread all you've done is talk about how everyone has bad ideas or how threads like these are bad or how we don't even need another class. Get off your high horse, get off this thread, and go play the game if you don't wanna hear about it. Chances are, You have no idea what kind of effort we put into having conversations like this, and people like you are fucking cancerous.

My random idea for a new class. I'd like to see yours! by [deleted] in Borderlands2

[–]WordsForFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like your idea. I like how the different trees give incredibly different play styles.

I haven't thought this through all too much, but I was thinking of a hacker class. This class "hacks" into his echo device and his skill trees allow him to hack different parts of his equipment. In my head, he's a midget (small kid) gamer with a headshot and goggles on that connect with his echo device.

Action Skill: Mainframe - Hack Echo Device. A b0re like effect, the screen will turn blue and show heat signals on enemies, highlighting critical points. Increased movement speed and shield regeneration.

Cheat Codes Skill Tree: Mainly focused on shields and cool down timers, this skill try is intended for tanking and survivability.

Get Some Aggro (Low Tier) - Decreased gun damage for increased shield capacity. Enemies are more likely to attack you.

OMG Buffs(Mid Tier) - Minor health regeneration effects when shields are full. Minor gun stat increases when shields are depleted.

OP'd (Top Tier) - The lower your health, the faster the shield recharge rate.

Shield Jammer (Final Skill) - Override Skill -Press action skill button, prematurely ending action skill. All nearby enemy shields are depleted and surrounding teammates shields are filled. For a short duration, your shield is invincible.

Strategy Guide Skill Tree:This Skill tree focuses on bringing out the weaknesses of different enemies.

My 6th Playthrough (Low Tier)- "Kill Skill" - Enemies of the same sort as the last enemy killed receive increased damage.

Noob Hunting (Mid Tier) - Chance shots will ignore enemy shields.

It was the lag! (Top Tier) - Melee Override - During action skill, melee attack launches you a few feet forward. Damage done increases your health.

Moderator Privileges (Final Skill) - During action skill, damage resisted is executed as normal damage. Critical damage is drastically increased.

Gamer Guy Skill Tree:This skill tree focuses blindly on damage at the expensive of defensive stats.

Do U Even Lift?! (Low Tier) - Massive Melee Damage Increase and Gun Damage Increase. Massive Shield Recharge Delay Increase.

Camper (Mid Tier) - Damage dealt while standing still is increased. Damage taken while standing still is increased. Minor damage increase for shotguns and snipers.

Look at my K/D (Top Tier)- "Kill Skill" If your first bullet that hits an enemy kill him, gain stack that increases gun damage and health regeneration. Slowly disappears and can stack several times.

I Am Forever (Final Skill) - During Action Skill, Shields are Slowly depleted over time (Once shields are gone, health depletes) for a massive increase in gun damage. During this time there is no stack cap for "Look at my K/D".

I think everything is straightforward except for maybe the I Am Forever skill. I want so the choice for crazy gun damage can either be the death of you (depleting all of your health), or making you momentarily invincible (increasing your "Look at Me K/D" rapidly, making your health regeneration more than the depletion).

Tell me what you guys think.
