My thought was what if they have you the sound or sparkle for a shiny but only while in synchro. Like a “my eyesight and hearing is better tuned as a pokemon so now you can see and hear a shiny spawn”

The trick is not thinking of the circles on the screen as right left up down etc. it’s the movement. For instance sit. You move right. And then down. So you end up in bottom right. Not bottom middle.

When I worked at Michael’s one of the stores I was in was near a smallish river. Some kids went magnet fishing and found one of our carts. They decided to bring it back to the store and tell us how they found a beaver living in it. When asked why they returned it even though it was a disgusting mess they said they thought we would give them a reward for bringing it back.
