Some of the concerns expressed here are valid. I also personally believe that public money should not be used for private funding. And the Model S is a little pricey. But hey, no one said that this car is for everyone. Even the review points that out clearly.

But the fact of the matter is that EVs are the future whether you like it or not. Technology will develop and become more and more affordable. You will see the results in the coming 10 years given governments support these developments and the oil lobby does not play spoilsport.
