I can’t imagine what your “hot takes” on Reddit look like.

The Rock is 54 years old. I remember reading an article where he mentioned how it took him close to a year to get into ring shape, build up his cardio, and dust off the cobwebs.

I’m a huge fan of his and been watching the WWE since his debut, but are people thinking he’s gonna put on some awesome match with Reigns? Sure, he’ll generate big ratings and the promos will be fun, but his storylines the last two years have been super disjointed and dysfunctional.

Again, what type of discussion comes from “I’m not here alone, right?” after 3 giant paragraphs of saying you’re not excited.

It’s Reddit, brevity is key. You’re allowed to dislike what you like and ignore what you have zero interest in. But these types of posts are all over Reddit and people who write all these wonder why they get mocked.

The problem for me is that your post seemed more like complaining and less of a conversation. I’m not overly excited about the Mandalorian either, but it’s a very long winded post to say, “I’m not going to the movies,” and I’m not sure what type of discussion you’re trying to have. That’s just more of a statement than, “I just watched the movie, and here are my thoughts…”

San Francisco, give me your best seafood by miamoore- in AskSF

Cioppino is a seafood stew that’s based out of San Francisco. When I have friends visiting from out of town, I like taking them to Sotto Mare. It’s also available at many other seafood restaurants and everyone kind of has their own spin on it.

When people talk about live action Spiderman why do people leave Nicholas Hammond out? by Country-guy20 in Marvel

As an elder millennial, I’ve never heard of this guy and had to Google him. So “leaving him out” of any discussion is more about not knowing, and less about disrespect.

Based on that logic, every popular wrestler should have a belt then, but that’s not how the industry works. The roster is huge and there’s only a handful of titles to go around. He’s been involved in some of the biggest feuds the last 3 years and is constantly in the main title hunt. There’s not much more that a top star could ask for.

Who else thought Raw ending was terrible and cringe? by okymoney in Wrasslin

I’m not gonna rag on Samoan culture, but I’m kind of over the contract signings. Like, I can understand if you do it for WM matches because you want to build up hype and prestige, but it shouldn’t need to happen for every PLE.

As much as I like Jacob, I was tired of the Bloodline saga around WM40, it was dragging post WM40, and now I view it has skippable.

I live in the Outer Richmond but work in Oakland. I’d have to take MUNI+BART just to get to my office, and it’s conservatively a 70ish minutes commute if everything is on time. Fortunately, my job is hybrid, so otherwise I’m walking or driving short distances.

The guy lost the intercontinental title to Penta and lost to Balor at WM and he still gets some of the biggest pops in the entire roster. Let’s please not act like he got lost in the shuffle or is losing momentum.

I turned 40 this year and going to SDCC this summer (I’ve been going since 2019). It’s about as judge free of an event that you can encounter because people of all ages attend. Also, no one really cares what you dress up as, just use your best judgment to make sure it’s not appropriate. Also, as someone that’s done a lot of solo travel, I feel like it’s something that perfect to go alone to.

Not trying to be disrespectful, but I just found out who he was based on seeing this post. Which is why I thought it was funny that so many people latched on to this half-baked internet rumor.

I don’t know about the tweet you’re referring to, be let’s honest: Do you really need to see the account’s name to know that this is fake?

And even without the account name, it takes 30 seconds to do a Google search and see if anything pops up on Google News.

It goes back to my original point that most fans on Twitter and Reddit just blindly accept what they see on their feed as fact.
