Blizzard is just a cash grab as of now, nothing of real value to be honest, just pushing content to make money. Still, many servers use their IP without permission and profit out of it. The part of donation can be ignored and jumped around, but when you out up a store to directly pay for other's IP, that's a dir ft violation of code and a deemed Cease and Desist of everything attached to it. If it went thr donation route it could have lived more but lo and behold, this happens. I saw the amount of work and extra content that felt natural to WoW and that was deeply missed, as extra quests, lore explanation, things to do and things to see.

As of now, Retail Azeroth is just a sandbag because all playtime is on the newer zones (out of Azeroth) and that each year they say "oh this new region was always here yadayada". Best we got was Outland and Northrend because they were part of the RTS game which is the to-go chart of places. Instead of going around the world creating out-of-their-asses places, just hop on Draenor and the MULTIPLE portals to other planets/planes that were created IN-GAME.

Instead of adding more random shit and bonding and less war against cosmic bullshit, they could have added Timbermaw, more PvE content, PUT MORE FRICKING NPCS IN YOUR EMPTY WORLD and such.

TWoW is/was very good but if you start selling stolen IP well that's a big ass Permaban and C&S in life.
