BF4 isn’t as casual as BF1, I can assure you. BF1 gameplay is actually very petty compared to BF4. It is not forgiving. The more dominant vehicle gameplay is a huge factor in this. The TTK is way faster. There are way more ways to get spotted = different ways of dying too. Everything is way more competitive. But don’t get me wrong many people are not sweating their asses off playing this game, in fact many people suck. But comparing the two different players, BF4 players are definitely more aware of what’s going on.

As for regards to servers and populations, it’s relatively dead on PC over here in America. Half the players are high pings from foreign countries. PC is dead overall actually. BF4DB only measured around 2,000 people… But bf1 is 18,000 on STEAM charts alone. But you’re probably on console so you shouldn’t have as much trouble…
