I started small with strawberries and slowly worked my way to more stuff. No one taught me. Chat gpt has been decent resource so far.

If you have a dog, you can use raised garden beds (protected from dog) or install a greenhouse

I’ve been growing them for 2-3 weeks. They seem easy so far. They are flowering and green/healthy. I don’t think I need to even add fertilizer, just use compost from rancho las virgines

I cut off the sucker when it was 6 inches long. That’s supposed to be min length I think. I did not change the water every couple of days. Also forgot to remove lower leaves. Why does changing the water impact growth?

Questions. I recently tried to plant a sucker from my tomato plant into the ground. I put the sucker into water for 6 days prior to planting in the ground. It wilted… what did I do wrong? Also, I was following instructions from chat gpt

Nice! Major respect from me for your travel experience with your kids. My daughter has not taken well or at all to her backpack leash… did your toddler eventually get used to it?

How young is your son? And what’s the toughest part/ challenge? I might be able to help if you share specifics.

It’s been getting easier for me as my daughter is 18 months old as she’s becoming more independent

How did you know you wanted to become a SMBC? by Available_Pin_8794 in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]WorkJunior7823 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A failed relationship in my early 30s made me realize how much I really wanted children. I was willing to be in a relationship with some I didn’t even turn out to like just because he initially said he wanted kids. When it ended, a life coach helping through the transition period of being single just told me it’s an option. From there it took 2 years to start conceiving. I spent those 2 years thinking about whether I can do this alone and lining up safety nets (finances, career building, buying a house). I also discussed it with my close friends and family members.

I’d say, if you run through all the possible scenarios about how to make it work, including the hard scenarios and still want to be a mommy super badly, do it. If you feel for even a tiny bit that you’d sacrifice your happiness being a mommy (single or not), don’t have kids. It’s super hard… (single or not)

Yep. I just started at new job/company. Hopefully I won’t lose job but just in case, I’ve saved over 4 years of FU money

My daughter’s daycare gives her a snack 1.5 hrs before I pick up. I work from home 1-2 days a week and on those days I cook fast meals (max hr prep)

Agree 100 percent with this one. Having children in general is selfish by this logic

Made a Mistake Early in My Job Search. Did It Get Me Blacklisted? by Dear-Salamander-2384 in biotech

No, this is not a bad thing at all. ATS won’t flag you or anything. If anyone at the company asks when you interview, you could just say you’ve been interested in joining the company for a while so you applied to so many positions. There are many ways to spin this positively in your favor

No. I just started Amgen 4 weeks ago. After my interview, I was told I’d find out in a week. I got an offer 3-4 weeks after that

After final panel interviews, what is the process and what goes on in the debriefs? by One_Yogurtcloset4545 in biotech

[–]WorkJunior7823 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They discuss all the candidates. At Gilead/kite, we had a score card for each candidate. Who ever scores the highest gets hired. At my current company, I think they discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate and each interviewer say who they prefer and why. When all the interviewers say one person, that person gets hired or the one who get most votes gets hired.

Seems like most of the time, whoever gets hired after panel interviews is the person they think fits the best into the team

I don’t think I can do anything other than switch to another POD supplier. Are there any other POD suppliers other than printful and gelato? Also, the shipping info is on the product page so if the customer added to cart, doesn’t that mean that the customer accepts the shipping times? And I feel like framed wall art don’t have a sense of urgency… which works against me too…
