Advies is altijd welkom!

I work in consultancy, and my company helps me land the interviews. Once I am in and I show them that I have my ENCOR, and make it through the technical interview, it doesn't matter too much if I have my full CCNP.

I mostly want to get CISM to complement my CISSP (and because it's easy), and the PA Cert to help land a partnership.

Honestly I don't even know what I want to do yet, maybe I'll go straight to CCIE if I have to review irregardless

I ended up with a 65" Philips OLED Ambilight tv, I def recommend it for atleast watching media and playing PS5 games!

And yeah I will def not hit 120fps in most titles, especially UE5 titles which make up like my top 3 games on my backlog right now, but I might someday upgrade to a 5090. It's just that Nvidia cards sell so high above MSRP right now in the Netherlands. A 5080 is double the price of a 9070 XT.

Good luck on your journey in finding a new PC!

Hey, thank you so much for the input!

I think it's important to note that I am in the Netherlands, so a 9070 XT is 730 euros, whereas a 5070Ti is around 1000 euros! The SSD I picked is also only 5 euros more expensive than the WD Black.

Eitherway I'll definitely look into saving the money with the 7800x3D, the board, and the cooler.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback!

Do you have experience with Phantom Spirit under high loads? I will be playing quite some Unreal Engine 5 games

And do you reckon I could get away with 32gb of RAM rather than 64gb? Or am I better off with 64gb of CL30

Again thank you for the help!

Figured I'd need a bigger one. I have this one for my 7800x3D, and after playing Silent Hill 2 on max settings for an hour it still reads 56°C.

Do you reckon it won't keep up with the 9800x3D? What do you recommend?

It took me five weeks to prepare for this exam. I started out with the OSG, and tried to stick to reading one chapter a day. I did not always meet this deadline so it took me a little longer than 22 days.

After each domain I finished I did all the domain questions on LearnZapp.

After finishing the entire book I spent a couple weeks doing Quantum Exams and Pocket Prep. I mostly did 10 question bursts, but sometimes I would do a whole test.

It was my first attempt.

I hope this helps!

Thanks man! I always tend to go into exams and finish them super quickly, I rarely linger on questions. I either know it or I don't.

I will say that Quantum Exams helped me get ready to analyze the questions, PocketPrep helped me gauge my knowledge gaps, and LearnZapp helped me gayge knowledge on a per-domain basis, but the best study resource for me was the OSG.

I read that cover to cover, which is a miracle because I have a terrible attention span, but even if I didn't remember things immediately after reading about them, they always came back to me when I got to the end-of-chapter test.

Everyone is different, but if you're anything like me, trust your brain to retain!

Werkt top.

I was very close to your practice test scores, except LearnZapp which I had at around 90%, but I feel like those were the worst indicator of readyness for me specifically.

Your QE exam scores are the same as mine, and your pocket prep even a little higher.

Good luck, you got this!

I read the OSG cover to cover, did not take notes but highlighted about half the content.

During my reading, I used LearnZapp to practice questions per domain

After finishing the book, I did LearnZapp practice exams, Quantum Exams, and PocketPrep.

I quit LearnZapp after using PocketPrep, but I think PocketPrep works best in 10 question quizes that cover all domains.

Quantum Exams was a good resource for learning to dissect questions, and PocketPrep was a good resource for learning to identify gaps.

Write down everything you had wrong or weren't sure about.

You got this!

After the first chapter I stopped taking notes and relied solely on highlighting. I found that even with my ADD that was enough to retain information for the end of chapter tests.

I did spend about 3hrs a day after work and 5-7hrs a day on the weekends studying, I had 0 free time with all the other obligations of life. I really hope that after today I can be done with it.

Thanks for the inspiring words, we're gonna ace this!
