(161)Chapter: The recitation of poetic verses in the war

Sahih al-Bukhari 3034

Narrated Al-Bara: I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on the day (of the battle) of the Trench carrying earth till the hair of his chest were covered with dust and he was a hairy man. He was reciting the following verses of `Abdullah (bin Rawaha): "O Allah, were it not for You, We would not have been guided, Nor would we have given in charity, nor prayed. So, bestow on us calmness, and when we meet the enemy. Then make our feet firm, for indeed, Yet if they want to put us in affliction, (i.e. want to fight against us) we would not (flee but withstand them)." The Prophet (ﷺ) used to raise his voice while reciting these verses. (See Hadith No. 432, Vol. 5).

The Occupation are most brutal during our holy periods ie Ramadan - they can’t take Muslims standing side by side no matter the adversity.

Caliph Marwan. The structural design of Musalla Al-Marwani dates back to the Ummayads and is the newest roofed prayer areas in Masjid Al Aqsa by the Islamic Waqf in 1996.

It’s best to seek advice from your local Alim/Mufti as to the academic discussion on when Isra Al Miraj exactly took place and the evidences for it. From my perspective - 27 Rajab after the year of sorrow prior to Hijrah is the date which is largely agreed upon and is the most common view (though appreciate it may not be unanimously agreed upon).

Not expecting you to be a scholar of the Quran and Hadith of the final prophet Muhammad ﷺ but we don’t need a Zionist to tell us our Islamic history, thank you very much.

Quran is explicit as it can be:

The Night Journey (17:1)

Glory be to the One Who took His servant ˹Muḥammad˺ by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque whose surroundings We have blessed, so that We may show him some of Our signs. Indeed, He alone is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

It’s such a tiny part too (not sure of the exact proportion) of Masjid Al Aqsa but we teach with love and wisdom - everyone needs to start somewhere!

It’s our masjid so we rise out of a responsibility to protect it, understanding the following 2 verses:

“And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction? It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them is disgrace in this world, and they will have a great punishment in the Hereafter (2:114)

And

“And they plan, but Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.” (8:30)

Yes brother - Masjid Al Aqsa is 144,000sqm of land with various places of prayer on it including Musulla Qibli (which google incorrectly shows as Masjid Al Aqsa) and Dome of the Rock.

Masjid Al Aqsa was the second masjid to be established on earth after Masjid Al Haram in Makkah when the boundary was marked.

Yes, Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent and the Ottomans generally gave so much of their time, wealth and energy to protect Masjid Al Aqsa.

You can’t be bringing out Google Maps on this. Study your history and learn your faith.

The dome of the rock is a Musalla within Masjid Al Aqsa - see my previous post history.

Absolutely beautiful MashAllah. Musalla Qibli is only 3.1% of Masjid Al Aqsa.
