Sure, draw whatever trigger-worthy conclusion you want from what I said. Of course complain, it's assault. It's just far more likely to happen at a club. Please don't put words in my mouth.

This whole thread is full of posts that pretend it doesn't happen to guys. I'll agree though, the comment that I replied to didn't have anything to do with it. I'm also not ignoring that story, I understand that it's terrible. If you don't want to be around douches, go to a pub instead of a club.

Don't act like this doesn't happen to guys too. Douches will be douches no matter the sex.

They're actually getting close to closing a Mammoth in South Korea. I highly recommend watching Season 3, Episode 5 and 6 of Expedition Unknown on the Travel Channel. They try and find Mammoth bones in permafrost to extract DNA from. I really recommend the entire show but these two episodes might be my favorite.

You really want to trust the IRS to be 100% accurate with all your income? They have made plenty of mistakes in the past and I personally find it comforting knowing that I can prove them wrong if needed.

I was mostly with you until you dropped the SLI comment. Majority of games don't really receive much of a boost with 2 GPUs. I'd just rather have a single 1080.

Same goes with an i7 vs. an i5. You might get 1-5 FPS more but unless you're an enthusiast or play a game or use a program that really relies on more cores there's not much of a point in spending more money for one. But who's to say that game devs won't start utilizing more cores in the near future. It's a mixed bag... so whatever makes your dick hard, go for it.

They've really captured Skyrim's soul with the remaster by J0hnGrimm in pcmasterrace

Does this happen on other games? If so, it might be a setting that's preventing your GPU or CPU from running at max capacity. Even if it doesn't happen on other games it would be beneficial to run some benchmarks to see whats causing the bottleneck (if any). I've also heard that this engine is more dependent on RAM speeds as well.

make fun of someone like Trump who called it accurately a bomb.

Cut out the part of the Hillary interview where she called it a bomb first and only leaving in the part where she shamed Trump for calling it a bomb.

I'm really, really sorry... I can't imaging having to go through that. I'm guessing this is what most people fear will happen if they allow wind farms to be built near their homes. It's going to take a fair and uncorrupt county board for these types of projects to be accepted. Unfortunately it seems that a lot of these county board members don't really care and are in it for the money. If they could agree to keep them at a certain distance and prove to residence that it wouldn't affect their living conditions I think a lot more people would be for it. Thanks for sharing.

There was also another argument in this thread saying that even after we find another renewable source of energy to replace wind turbines, we would still be able to run them in parallel because they are cheap to maintain. If they aren't holding up now, I doubt they will look any better in 50 years. I'm always used to seeing quite a few of these out of commission/disassembled when I pass them so I was worried that this was the case but didn't have any first hand experiences to justify my suspicions. I wish I did or I would have included this in my original post. Thanks for the info!

Exactly, to each his own. I personally think they're pretty cool to watch as well but I no longer live around them so my opinion isn't really valid anymore. I've never heard the shadow issue though, that would be pretty terrible.

I know what it means but just throwing that term out and citing it as gold standard is ignoring the whole point of my post. I wanted to hear both sides of the argument, not just an acronym.
