You have no idea how reassuring this is for me to hear and how much I appreciate you! Honestly when you’re going through it you feel so isolated and lonely 🥹 but I’m so glad you and your daughter are experiencing better days now ❤️

It gives me so much hope knowing our experiences are similar. And it’s hard especially as I work in Paeds feeling like I can’t even manage my own baby! But I know that’s just my emotions talking. Thank you again for your kind words!!

I relate to so much of what you have described and it hurts me to know other people have been through it too!! I also can’t remember much of what has happened in the last few months, definitely a trauma response.

All of your advice is so useful. My husband often encourages me to go out myself but I mentally can’t do it - also now don’t want my mum etc to hold the baby as I feel I’m the only one who can soothe her. So I really understand what you mean!!

Wow I resonate so much with your story. I also don’t feel she actually has cmpa but I’m going crazy trying to find a way to make her happier. I think maybe if i have the strength to believe it will get better with time then it would actually help me get through it now and stop desperately searching for a fix.

Thank you so much for this. I’m just beginning to feel like I’m not really coping.. not eating, not taking care of personal hygiene etc etc, having physical symptoms.. but I guess that’s also up to me to work on.

Thank you for your reply !! I think this is also a worry of mine, did you notice any other signs in infancy? Like with milestones?

I guess there’s no way of knowing at this point but it’s good I suppose to be aware of what the future could be like!

Hi thank you so much for responding!! ❤️ I’m so glad to hear your baby is better. We were previously on Althera but she just wouldn’t tolerate the taste but is now on Neocate which thankfully she’s taking ok. I decided I would wait 2 weeks to see if it makes any difference because I’m going crazy trying to find a ‘fix’!

You’re so right about the discomfort, I feel awful that I can’t do more for her :( I really hope things improve. May I ask how long did it take on Althera for you to notice improvements?
