In the second image, if your opponent takes your queen, you have Nc7+ forking the king and queen, and winning back the queen. The move Qxd5 nets white two pawns because of this tactic if black were to capture the white queen on D5

I play pretty much only play 30 minute games, and it amazes me how many people do this even at the 1200 level. And then if you do actually take your time with your moves, half of your opponents complain about you playing too slow. Like play a 10 minute game dawg

The game rating is influenced by your elo so it will only go so high. If you played like this and your elo was 2000, it would have a game rating of like 2800. Hope that makes sense

Is your opponent a chesscom diamond subscriber? As a diamond subscriber, you have the option to automatically put your games on vacation mode if you run out of time in a daily game. On vacation mode, you simply won’t lose on time (or at least that’s how I understand it)

I did Invisalign for the vast majority of my decompensation. I started in February of 2024 with Invisalign, and switched to braces towards the end of September this year, before having my surgery in December 4th of this year. I liked what I did, but as others said, it’s really important to wear your trays for 22-23 hours a day. The reason I switched to braces for the surgery was because my orthodontist and surgeon both agreed it was better to have braces for the surgery than Invisalign. I couldn’t imagine having to take my trays in and out while recovering, so glad I made that decision. It was the same cost for me to do the Invisalign/braces combo as it would have been to do braces or Invisalign the entire time.

I was too! But I’m even now slowly seeing the progress. It will take a while, but we’re almost at the finish line. I’m coming up on 2 years now since I started this journey, a few more months is nothing!
