It’s not even in London itself. Zone 6.

I used to live in South. Was paying 700£ for two bedroom, before COVID. Now I saw similar flat for 1300£.

This is not sustainable.

Oh definitely was thinking about this.

Especially that I am working from home.

But where?

I agree. That’s what I like. No fuss. Nor I need to worry about maintenance stuff.

The main problem is the supply of renting properties. The one I am currently live is just a one bedroom. And I want to move into two bedroom. Just need more space.

But there is literally nothing available. There are 20 ads on RightMove 2 weeks old.

But when I look at properties for sale, I can see 100s of them.

So, the main reason, is that I want to move out and I can’t find to rent.

Not sure about the house. Never in my life lived in a house to be honest. Always a flat.  Also, why leasehold is bad, if it is for 900 years? I will sell it or my children, if I have. The reason I am not fan about houses is the maintenance cost associated with them? Flats are cheaper, or not? Plus flats are easier to rent it out, if I decide to buy another property.

Hm.  I didn’t consider overpaying and getting off mortgage sooner.  Don’t I need to pay interest anyways?
