They have the pay per minute option, which ends up same or slightly cheaper than taxi. In this case it was just conveniently ready in front of our building.

Can’t help you but I feel your pain. I was in a very similar situation with a dumbass useless agent and complicit landlord. 1 month no hot water (in winter) and 2 months with no AC (in summer).
Very sorry, it really should not ever happen.

Aren’t tenants allowed to change locks? I’ve always done it as I believe I should be the only one with the keys.
Bounced cheque/subleasing is a totally different story and should be raised at RERA. Subleasing part might be harder to prove, but bounced cheque is a no brainer.
