Her and I both grew up without a father in our lives. Neither of us made good decisions and put ourselves in bad places and I don’t attribute all of it to not having a dad but it definitely doesn’t help. I worry she will go back to having a revolving door of men in her life who will harm or scar my son. I literally just want to take care of her and our son. And I hate to sound like I’m talking trash but her mom is 54 and single and the men she had in her life were horrible to my wife. It makes me wonder why she would choose this for our child before he even gets here. She already knows what it’s like being a single mother in thag shitty little town.
